The Queen Vic — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

A bit of a nightmare. I only went in there for food but they seem to be mainly interested in selling drinks. The waiter came and asked me what I wanted to drink so I ordered 2 drinks: One cocktail and sparkling water. He told me that another waiter was going to come for the food. The cocktail came quite quickly. The sparkling water never came. No idea what happened to that. After more than 30 minutes nobody had come for the food order. So I started asking the waiters if I could order the food. At last the original waiter came and wrote my order down on a little pad (don't understand why he didn't do that at the beginning...). He also told me that there was a problem in the kitchen and it could take at least 10 minutes. 30 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived. I was starting to get a little hangry and asked to speak to the manager. The manager seemed quite nice (at least admitted that there was a problem) got things moving and offered me a free drink (that I didn't accept because I then couldn't have written this review but that's why they get a 2 and not a 1). Once the food arrived (The Rumpsteak) it was quite nice. But more than a 1 hour wait to get food is IMO too long. I was looking at the other tables and they didn't seem to have the same problem so I feel there was a bit of a lack of respect because I was a foreigner and...

The most awful food, and terrible service.

They forget they’ve seated you and didnt return for another 20 mins to take a drink order, we ordered food and it came about 45 mins later.

The fish had bones in it still without being mentioned by the waiter who told us after we complained that he should have told us this at the start, the food was cold and now my partner is currently throwing up after eating the chicken Kiev!

When we complained the waiter told us he would adjust the bill to compensate for the food, back home we would have comped the meal but we were told he had only taken 50% off I still have a fishbone lodged in my throat!!

Me and my partner really enjoy our food and we’ve enjoyed so many good meals in Cyprus but this really took the p* being a chef myself I would advise anyone to avoid this place like the plague it’s way to overcrowded and they seat far too many people there is no way you can seat that many people and provide a high standard of service and...

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G The staff is super friendly, our waiter was Alex and he is the best, truly someone who made the expirence better. The size of the plates are big and has a very good price! The location is perfect as there is the beach, not even 5 mins walk, there is karaoke at night and even live music. I couldn't recommend a better place. We ate the hot dog and a jacket potato. The bread and pizza dough is homemade, which makes the food so fresh and tastes truely delicious. The restaurant has many options to choose from, which makes it perfect for everyone. During the day, there are many fans around, so you feel refreshed, and the music is lovely as well. It's not too loud to talk and not too quiet that you can't hear anything. The BEST part is FREE WIFI! There is also a variety of alcoholic drinks to choose from, which makes it perfect for the night party. I loved it and can't wait...
