The place was crowded mostly because it was a Sunday morning. As reservations are not an option, we were patiently awaiting to be seated. The cozy atmosphere was slightly warm, understandable given the summer season. Although ceiling fans provided relief to those close by, we seated in the middle, still felt the heat.
The staff was friendly, yet there was a notable delay in taking our order. Despite our requests, we waited quite a while before anyone approached. Our food and beverages arrived a few minutes after placing the order.
Prices ranged from €10-15 per person. For coffee we had an Iced Latte, and a Freddo Cappuchino. They had a cool pink milk foam on top that caught our attention.
For brunch, we had the La Forêt croissant and chocolate-strawberry pancakes, both of which were truly tastefull.
Overall, we had a good time. Even though there were some service issues, the cozy atmosphere and tasty food make it a place to think...
Read moreReally nice cafe-restaurant, nicely decorated, they're pet friendly but at first the waitress told me my dog wasn't welcome because of his size (after consulting one of the bar staff), we were actually gonna leave but as we were leaving this other super sweet waitress told me that me and my dog are absolutely welcome and seated us a bit further to the back so we don't cause trouble. The Greek waiter was super helpful by giving food recommendations and ordered our drinks and food. The Christmas themed mocha they have is nice but if you're going to order matcha ask them to double strain it because there's matcha lumps in the drink. I had the burger which was nicely presented but unfortunately the burger was extremely bland and unseasoned. The fries were warm and crispy and the egg was cooked perfectly. Based on their menu i think the brunch options might be a better option. There was live singing during the holidays which gave a...
Read moreNot for me at all. Poor experience but may be down to personal preference. It took approx 20 mins for a member of the team to take our order. When I order a coffee and a croissant, my personal expectation is to enjoy them together. If not possible, the expectation is on the establishment to clarify this is not possible. The croissant came approx 25 mins after the coffee. I did say to the wait staff 15 minutes after the coffee arrived what had happened and I was asked if I clarified whether I wanted together. I was asked to wait another 5 minutes. It arrived 10 mins later. I got a pistachio croissant. It was diabetes on a plate. Not recognisable as a croissant. The plus side is instagram people seem to like it. We were asked for a tip after all of that. At least this...
