Fish House Restaurant — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

Me and my girlfriend visited for lunch, she ordered shrimp pasta which was nice and well made. I ordered grilled prawns which came out cold and there were no grill marks or anything didn’t seem to be freshly grilled so i sent it back. They wanted to put the prawns back on the grill i said no thanks. So next i ordered calamari rings instead, which was better, at least it came out freshly made and hot, however it was a bit over cooked so it was a rubbery. One would expect perfectly made sea food from a place called fish house. Disappointing really and it wasn’t even cheap to say the least. The location is great and thewaitresses were nice shame the food let the place down i will not return and i would not recommend this place. The waitress asked for tips in the end which i refused due to the disappointing food. We still left a fair amount of money there and left disappointed so it’s a thumbs down...

Amazing place. The tastiest food in Cyprus so far (and I’ve been to so many places here, i lived here for some time). We ordered different fishes and octopus, all was fresh and perfectly cooked. With every meal you get a freshly backed whole bread. Fish goes with potatoes and grilled vegetables (not frozen french fries which are served everywhere else). All home made and very tasty. Potatoes in Cyprus are very good, so it surprises me that restaurants serve frozen french fries. Good that this restaurant is serving normal vegetables. For kids there’s a very good playground with trampolines and swings. Many selections of vegetarian food, also very tasty (we had a stuffed eggplant and a home made halloumi with tomato marmalade). And all that for adequate prices! I’ve been here twice and decided to go every night. Please keep on. Best...

(A bit hard to give rating for atmosphere bc it's December. There were only a family of six and I at the time. I'm sure in summer it's gonna be more popular!) Ordered fish soup, grilled cuttlefish, and a small bottle of KEO. I absolutely love the soup - finally a restaurant that serves fish soup! It contains three kinds of fish and veggie. Rich flavour with crouton. Warm the stomach. The cuttlefish was a tad bit charcoal but still tasty. The ink was kept (a bit surprising but I'm okay with it). The chips that came with them was surprisingly good! Usually cooks don't care about chips bc it's a side thing. Food proportion was big so I didn't order the dessert, but was very glad to have a complimentary slice of orange cake, which was nice (orangey, the texture was like a pudding). Overall a good place. Service was nice...
