I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Basket, a seafood restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a delightful culinary experience.
Service: One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Mahdi.
Food: The seafood at Ocean Basket is, simply put, outstanding. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked—tender on the inside with a light, crispy coating. For the main course, we opted for the seafood platter, a generous assortment of fresh fish, prawns, and mussels. Each component was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and seasoned just right. The accompanying sides, including the garlic butter sauce and lemon wedges, enhanced the seafood beautifully.
Overall Experience: Ocean Basket offers an exceptional dining experience for seafood lovers. The combination of delicious food, inviting ambiance, and outstanding service—especially from Mahdi—makes it a must-visit. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Ocean Basket is sure to impress.

I highly recommend Ocean Basket to anyone seeking a memorable seafood dining experience. Mahdi's excellent service was the cherry on top of an already fantastic evening. I can't...
Read moreI don’t normally rate franchise restaurants but I feel like my 2 cents might help people to decide whether to dine here. I’ve had my fair share of frozen seafood. There are tons of quality frozen food, so honestly I don’t really mind it at all. But this calamari 3 ways dish was by far the worse. If you dig in with your eyes closed you can never tell what it is that you’re really eating. It had zilch texture of squid with only faintest seafood smell. It was softer than chicken thigh. Even the batter coating the deep fried quids couldn’t bring back the chewiness. A total letdown for me. Welcome breads were cold and crumbling. Their sushi was typical sushi you can find in Japanese(Chinese) restaurants around Europe. Deep fried smelt was alright (I had it too at Ocean Basket in Larnaca.) The most enjoyable thing on our table was simply the salad. Always double check when given tiny bowls (usually comes with your sushi order for Shoyu), they didn’t seem to be thoroughly clean. The service was great though. We happened to come across quite competent staffs. But I doubt that is enough reason to...
Read moreThe restaurant is at the Agia Napa harbour, which makes the atmosphere really unique. First and most important thing; the food was great, really really good. The tuna steak was delicious, was made perfectly and comes with a nice little cyprus salad. The reason why I gave the place 3 stars is the service. The waiters are very bored, some even looked angry. We ordered our drinks, but had to wait for 20 minutes for them to arrive. Some of the dinner got served first, after 10 minutes I asked the waiter when the rest of the food will arrive. Then he brought them. I don’t know when he would bring them if I don’t ask. He was rood and annoyed, no idea why. I can understand that the staff have a lot of work, lot of requests and they have to walk miles, probably underpaid. But some of the dishes cost 25€ or even more, if you got served this kind of food for this price you probably expect to got it served by a kind way and to start eating it all together with your family not 10-15 minutes after. Hopefully they change some of their staff, then it would be a...
