Hidden Gem in Larnaca - A Must-Visit Taverna on Cyprus!

Living in Larnaca for three years now, it's incredible that I only just stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. Without a doubt, this is the best taverna on the entire island of Cyprus. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and attentive service, making me feel right at home.

The highlight of the experience was the mouthwatering cuisine they served. Finally, someone on Cyprus knows how to prepare liver perfectly! The liver was an absolute delight and a revelation. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was cooked to perfection.

What pleasantly surprised me even more were the reasonable prices despite the generous portions of delicious food served. It's a rare find to come across such a combination of quality and quantity, especially in a tourist hotspot like Larnaca.

The live music performance during my visit was the cherry on top of an already fantastic evening. The talented and energetic band truly set the perfect ambiance, making the dining experience even more memorable. It's clear that they love what they do, and their passion shines through their music.

I was so excited to visit this place last Saturday night with my husband!!!! It’s been a while since we had such a great time out at a tavena!

Food was excellent and the time in between dishes was just perfect for eating with no rush and table not to get full with plates getting cold. The only option was meze by the way but the variety and taste was superb! (I have missed taking photos of everything as I was busy eating 😂) The portions are enough and the price is reasonable.

Musicians were so good and making great atmosphere.

The reason for my low rating: We were 6 people and the size of the meze dishes brought to us was the exact same amount as the 2 people sitting next to us!! I asked about this and was told that's just how much it is and nothing was done to resolve it.

We paid 20 euros each and felt like we had to go to MC Donald's to fill up after! Never been so annoyed by a Cypriot meze in my life.
