We’ve been to this place before and the food is ok, nothing special. We just wanted something quick as it was late and kids were hungry so we stopped by and were told there were no tables outside and he would move a family who had been waiting from inside to the last remaining outside table. He told us to wait and we would be shown inside, so we waited and waited and then the guy behind the till said, very rudely, if you’re not going to take the table inside then I will give it to someone else. I explained that we were waiting for him to seat us and he replied again rudely, do you want the table or not. At this point I was quite shocked by his demeanour and decided that we should just leave given the abrupt response, I didn’t want to spend my money there. We walked for a few minutes and found another souvlaki place where both the food and customer services was excellent. Would now never go here again. Really rude service which is just not...
Read moreFood: the chicken was not edible as it had a weird texture and it was tasteless. I noticed that the meat on two other tables was burnt on one side, so burnt that it turned black! We ordered a platter and the quantity was good as well as the pork souvlaki & fries tasted good, which is why I am leaving two stars instead of one. Service: we asked for a lemon (which a restaurant serving Greek food should be serving without us even asking!!!) and they told us they didn't have any. Then we noticed a member of staff bringing a bag of lemons moments later. Jeez! Staff was polite and otherwise very fast with the rest of our requests, which is why I am leaving two stars. Atmosphere: we were sat outside which has a nice view of the street, but the space between the tables was too narrow. It's very uncomfortable to be crammed with the other tables to the point where you can almost hear what people are saying. Prices are ok for this...
Read moreThis is the place where you must go hungry and tolerant to other people. The food and the staff are great. We waited for 20 minutes for our chicken and lamb souvlaki dishes to be served and the staff provides beer as soon as possible. Probably the best skewers ever. The people going to this place, unfortunately, are the worst. We've had a group of 10 (almost naked) who moved the tables around and at one point I had a little girl sitting right next to me. I could feel her perspiration. Too much Democracy can ruin an experience. It's still a 5 star review because the food was great. The fries didn't receive the salt treatment and it was a bit too much onion added for my taste. But that is subjective. The meat and the pitas...
