Thanks to your waitress, this was our most uncomfortable meal in our 16 days vacation in Cyprus. If there wasn't a better approach from a cook-lady, we would definitely walk out of your restaurant in the middle of the dish. This ammount of rudeness, coldness, doesn't-give-a-**ness about guests, we've never seen before. And before we've decided to sit, she was talkative but so aggressively pushy, until we told her that there's no need for that, we'll sit anyway. Fortunately the lady who brought main dish to us was smiling and polite, totally opposite of her younger colleague that literally threw our antipasti pita and dip on the table, with no words, no smile, for the ashtray asking we've got a rolls-eye move 🙄... The cook lady brought us food that is great, tasty and big portioned, she gave her best to present it to us the warm way, she was really sweet! And food prices are very reasonable. I'm not sure they make their own gyros meat inside this restaurant, but anyway it is delicious. The atmosphere could be better and so lovely, if there weren't so many cars driving next to your table, but it's not up to the restaurant but Larnaka, unbelievable that cars run by your tables in a narrow street in the middle of the old town. At the end, when we wanted to pay, the waitress told us that our bill is 1€ higher than we've counted... she brought no fiscal bill, just said the amount. If we were in our own country, this situation would be for financial inspection calling (no fiscal bill + overcharging), but being on our vacation we didn't wanna discuss this... just paid. Now in the reviews I see it's for "the service"... what service?! Rudeness, rolleyes, throwing food and drinks on the table? Nevermind... I hope at least you think your conscious is clean. This can be a great little restaurant, your food is truly delicious (ours and what we saw on other tables) but this approach to the clients is unacceptable and you will lose your great ratings. "Client is everything", you know, even if we were the worst clients ever (which we were not, and never were), you have to be polite and caring, and show respect to the food, your colleagues and the restaurant you work for. And Cyprus. You were the worst representative of your people on our trip, and Cyprus people are warm and caring. Hope the management will...
Read moreFrom the very first moment the owner was pushing on us to order without giving a chance to read the menu. We had 3 minutes to made our decision and we ordered whatever she recommend. The owner said that they have homemade wine, but the moment she turned around, she poured the cheapest wine from the box to the glassess. Moussaka was really bad, with low quality meet (minced leftovers from the kitchen), and a jacked potato was served raw. When I wanted to pay, I said that I'm not happy with the food they served. The owner started to scream at me, and when I told her that I've seen what she did with wine and that it's not homemade, a younger lady (daughter?) approached and she was trying to explain that they are pouring homemade wine to the carton box from the supermarket and put to the fridge, as it's easier to handle, but it's clearly the same cheapest brand as they sell in the supermarket- the original name is printed on the box and the carton is sealed. I didn't want to argue and I paid for everything except the raw potato. I do not recommend going to this restaurant, it's a waste of money and time, you have better places to...
Read moreUnless you’re strapped for late night food options don’t bother. The prices are ludicrous for the quantities and if you complain they pretend you’re the problem. Not to mention if you order tashi as a starter they get confused, there is an argument to be made that none of the servers/owners have ever had Cyprus food, this is despite the “Cyprus food” proclamation on the billboard. Just don’t bother, any adjacent place would be better. The cherry on the cake was one pitta bread for three adults with the dips.
Edit: Cherry on the cake means that the worst thing was you gave us one tiny piece of bread for two pots of dips. Am I supposed to eat the dip on its own? And the reason you get good reviews might be your other food which could be better (I don’t know), or the fact they are tourists who don’t...
