Spileon in Larnaca is famous for its excellent Stifado and Afelia. We've been enjoying them at least once a month for five years. So now it was time to try something different. So we opted for the Ravioli and Meatballs. Completely different from the Stifado or Afelia, but certainly not bad. The owner serves them with a delicious salad and the Meatballs with a baked potato. Along with a bottle of red wine and a house Cyprus coffee, you have a good and affordable dinner at Spileon. Review 2024: This "old school" restaurant in the center of Larnaca serves the tastiest Afelia and Stifado we have ever eaten in Larnaca. The interior of Spileon is an experience in itself and very attractive to us. The elderly owner and his wife are good hosts and their home-made dishes are delicious. The halloumi, Greek salad, Afelia and the Stifado are recommended. We always opt for a double portion of rice instead of rice and fries, but that differs in taste. Order a semi-sweet red wine and your meal is complete. You don't have to worry about the price because at Spileon you pay less than € 50.00 for this meal for 2 people, in May 2024. We will come back here many more times, this is one of the (restaurant) gems of Larnaca. No haute cuisine, but just an honest restaurant that serves consistently...

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The food lacked flavor, and nothing on my plate felt fresh. I ordered fish, but it was clearly previously frozen and not fresh at all. Even worse, I found a hair in my dish, which completely ruined my appetite.
The fries were undercooked, soggy, and tasted like they hadn’t been seasoned at all. I also tried the chicken kebab, hoping it would be better, but it was bland and dry it had no taste whatsoever.
Overall, the meal was a big letdown. When you go to a restaurant, you expect good hygiene and at least decent food, but sadly, this place failed on both fronts. I would not recommend this restaurant based on...
