First time dining here. There are a few teething issues when opening a new place. I felt them here. Nice presentation of food and menu.
My notes to the management of the place: Overall the food was good. Had a few hits and misses (personal opinion). Front of house service definitely needs improving. The only thing I could point out was the lamb kebabs were served cold and too dry. I would say that the chefs opinion (who created the menu) of Greek food really is infused with a few middle eastern twists. The music was utterly awful and listening to the best hits of Rob Thomas (on repeat) for almost two hours straight plus some other music which made you feel like you were in your last days in an old aged home really doesn't help the atmosphere of the place. If you're a Greek place, you can put some more modern ambient Greek music that exists. It would pair much nicer and help the vibe. The menus were dirty with finger prints and some food/oil/grease on them. Although we did have a two hour seating limit (which was more than enough) I felt we were constantly rushed to eat, and the front of house just constantly had to take the plates away to get us to other dishes. We had to ask service to stop taking the plates away and to give us a little time to breathe and also finish the food that was on the plate. We were one of the first tables to come so obviously the staff really didn't have much to do than to float around our table. Also, listening to the cooks and how they talk and hearing one specific cook talking about what is and isn't his problem in the open kitchen was a little over the top. I had the kompuat negroni. A little too overwhelming and something I would not try again. (personal opinion from a negrini lover always willing to try something different). Seating, we were placed on the sofa next to the bar. Nice and cosy. Unfortunately the door of the restaurant never closed due to the wind outside and a cold breeze kept on coming in and hitting our table first as well as the air conditioning being on cold and hitting us I believe on top of our heads. Probably the heating was at some point turned on however, heat rises and since the ceiling was tall, the heat was mainly on the first floor where the toilets were. So if you want to sit somewhere a little warmer during a cold day sit closer to the open kitchen.
Food wise we went for a variety of plates. If you are a tarama lover then it's a must try. Cucumber salad - not bad but not my thing. Sea food ceviche. In the ceviche we found a small bone but nothing to make a fuss about at that point. Overall tasty. Gyros tacos. Nice idea, easy go-to. Actually pairs nicely with the smoked tarama if you want to try something different. Octopus was flavourful (a little overpowering on the vinegar side) but otherwise nice and filling. The lamb kebabs were just a big 'no' in my opinion. We finished off with the bougatsa. Can't really go wrong there. Overall the place was good and I would go back but during a busier time.
Note: Just make sure you have a reservation and make sure you confirm it ahead of time.

Although the word ârestaurantâ entered the literature in the 18th century as a place of renewal and refreshment, you will quickly realize that the meals served here do nothing to refresh or nourish your body.
We specifically ordered fish, lamb kebab, and Iberico, expecting a quality dining experience. However, what arrived at our table was an absolute disasterâdishes drowned in excessive sauces, unsettling to the stomach, and completely devoid of real nourishment.
For instance, the fish was completely dried out. It was overcooked to the point of losing all its natural juices and oils. To compensate for this failure, the kitchen drowned it in an overwhelming amount of lemon sauce, garnished it with capers and olives, and served it as if nothing was wrong. The result? A flavorless, dried-out fish swimming in a watery sauce. We didnât eat fishâwe ate sauce.
The kebab was just as bad. The meat was poorly processed, full of tough sinews, and ground carelessly through a machine. Calling this a kebab would require a witness. The fat content was nearly nonexistent, making it completely dry and unappetizing. To make matters worse, they seemingly mixed in breadcrumbs to bulk it up, which only worsened its texture. It had no resemblance to a proper kebab. Instead, it was heavily loaded with garlic, and to cover up its shortcomings, they smothered it in yogurt and tomato sauceâturning an already bad dish into an unbearable one.
I have never eaten a meal that made me feel this uncomfortable before. And I can say with absolute certainty: you could get a much tastier, more affordable, and more satisfying meal from any street food vendor on the corner.
Whoever designed this menu needs to seriously rethink their approach. Does this restaurant truly cater to the human stomach, or is it just a place that deceives the palate with sauces while offering nothing of real substance? I genuinely wonder how the chef managed to create such a disastrous menu. I doubt that such a culinary failure has ever existed anywhere in the world.
This restaurant is an embarrassment to Cypriot and...
Read moreWe arrived to âMusaâ on the evening Thursday 26th. All the seats inside were occupied, so we were invited to sit outside. OK, let it be the street. We had already opened the menu when the hostess and the shining with a wide smile waiter suddenly came out and said that thay had table inside. Nice, we answered, and happily went in. However, when we were already taking off our coats near the unfortunate table, someone named Spyros, a manager or whatever, came up to us and informed us that we couldn't take this table. Since other guests had already been sitting in the street and waiting since 18 o'clock. We felt terrible. We didn't want to overtake anybody in a âqueueâ and definitely had no idea that someone else was waiting for a table. And, you know, we weren't supposed to find out. Because from the moment we were invited, Spyros had to solve all his problems with the hostess and other guests without our participation, instead of stopping us from sitting down.
So we sat for a while, looked at each other, and decided that the evening at this place was definitely ruined. We put on our coats and went to the exit. Do you think Spyros had approached us? Did he apologize? Had he asked if he could help us in any way? Nope. He tried to ignore us and act as he didn't even notice that we were leaving. Which is quite difficult, you know, in a relatively small hall of the restaurant. Only after I slowed down at the hostess, this Spyros deigned to approach. Because I caught his eye. Any apologies?.. No way. This is me who is sorry. For this completely unprofessional and rude behaviour of the team. And, you know, actually, âMusaâ looks beautiful and...
