Evroulla — Restaurant in Nicosia

i live abroad, so when i visit cyprus, evroulla was the best place to eat, i ignored the moodiness of the staff, and put it asside, as there always so busy. reasonable prices and home cooked meals. but on the last occasion i visited, the staff moody as usual, they take yr order and rush to the kitchen, u have to say it quickly cause u feel if u take yr time, they will go to another table, they dont have the patience to recomend you anything. i was stuck between 2 meals, do i choose gigandes or pork chop, anyway i went fr oven baked gigandes in tomatoe, when i do them they're pretty tasty! they bring the meal and leave quickly, yr lucky if u get a chance to ask fr a drink ! no kali oresxi no smile nothing. it wasnt gigandes, it was fasolia, i take 1 bite, it was way over cooked, and tasteless, i called them back, said it was too overcooked, so they took it away. no sorry, no would u like something else on the house, nought ! i ended up eating olives bread and tomatoes! i mean, offer ing me something wasn't going to break their bank account right ? well they definately lost my custom, and my family who i take there. ive seen brilliant service at restaurants, in Norway, spain uk, Scotland, Greece. even northern cyprus, which are very cheerful and polite, i think the cypriots need a few lessons in how to do things. im going to Ledras tomorrow, but ill go where 5here is service...

This place reminds me of a nostalgic tavern with homecooked meals, traditional Greek and amazingly delicious with Cypriot specialties.

The place is constantly full and with a bohemian vibe, the perfect location for tourists and also for locals.

Loved everything we had, we tried the Village salad, tzatziki sauce and homemade fries and a specialty with minced meat meatballs in pita. Everything was mouthwatering and absolutely stunning. The taste was so balanced and so so good, we felt amazing afterwards, which is such an important element when visiting a city like Nicosia.

I loved the menu, which was loaded with traditional specialties and also appreciated the way locals eat: pouring high quality olive oil and lots of lemon juice on veggies, it was a pleasure to watch them season their food with such care and joy!

The service was top notch and the rapidity and professionalism was highly appreciated by us! We love to watch and feel people that truly love their work!

Unfortunately the service has deteriorated. Rude unprofessional staff. They told me to sit and the table had no chair and was dirty for long until i asked them to clean it. The waitress forgot my order for over 45 min. I asked her if she had ignored it and she said nothing and just went into the kitchen to talk to other staff and stayed there. I got up after another 10 min and asked what happened she told me she just put the pork chop on the grill.... then she sat to have a cigarette... and told me that I was rude. When the pork chop was served it was half baked, dry and with no salt. These people have no idea about serving customers.
