Revosushi — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

We had dinner at Revosushi last night. The restaurant is conveniently located near the harbour, making it a good option if you're in the area. The ambience and decor are stylish and welcoming, although the tables and chairs are quite basic.

The menu offers a decent variety, though not all the dishes are traditional Japanese sushi. Service was efficient, we didn’t wait long after placing our order and most of the dishes were nicely presented, with one exception: the poke bowl.

According to the menu, the poke bowl was supposed to include tempura prawns. What we received, however, were deep-fried, breaded prawns cut into small, child-sized pieces. The bowl lacked any of the typical salad elements you'd expect i.e. no avocado, edamame, seaweed, or similar addition, just plain sushi rice with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. It was disappointing and definitely the weakest dish of the meal.

While the overall experience was pleasant enough, I believe there are better sushi spots in Old Town Paphos. I don’t plan on returning...

I dined here with my partner in August 2025 and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When ordering, I asked if a dish could be modified due to my allergies. The waiter assured me it was possible but mentioned it might take around 40 minutes since everything is made fresh. We were fine with that, but ended up waiting an hour and a half.

When my dish finally arrived, the allergens I had asked to be removed were still included, so I had to point this out again. This showed a real lack of attention to dietary needs, which is concerning.

The service overall was very slow and inattentive. For example, we were only given one glass, and despite asking three times for another, I eventually had to get it myself.

Fantastic experience! I ordered 3 separate sushi dishes, including one vegetarian, and everything arrived perfectly packaged in individual boxes. I really appreciate the effort they made to properly separate the vegetarian dish from the fish sushi — a small detail that makes a huge difference. I didn't even have to message them in advance that one of us is vegetarian.

The sushi itself was exceptional. The Yasai Tempura rolls were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend them even to non vegetarians. the sashimi was incredibly fresh and high quality. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and carefully prepared.

It’s rare to find a place that gets both the taste and the attention to detail right, but this restaurant delivered on both....
