6 of visited the Keg and Barrel. We were the only people in the bar as is was winter and not a lot of people about. Good initial service and reasonable prices. The only problem was the volume of the TV. It was so loud we could not talk to each other. As we were the only people there we asked if the volume could be turned down. We asked again 10 minutes later and explained we could not have a conversation. We were told in a surly manor by the young lady, no! We could have made them a lot of money as we do like to drink. We left and went to the cocktail bar next door where we were made to feel extremely welcome by Andreas and his cats! We spent the night there and a lot of money! Perhaps the Keg and Barrel could learn something about hospitality...

Claire our waitress was excellent and on hand to look after our needs. A great addition to the team. Good choice of beer. Serves food but we did not have any on this visit.
