Porto Bello Restaurant — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Well what can I say about Porto Bello.

The restaurant is a little out from the sea front and you will only come across it if you happen to walk away from the sea front on Poseidonos Ave, there isn't any of those annoying people standing outside trying to get you in so a tick in my good books.

The prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants on the street.

While we were in Paphos we went to Porto Bello twice and both visits were excellent. I can only believe the guy who greeted us was the owner, very pleasant and a shake of the hand upon both arrivals. He takes great care in his customer service, it isn't forced and wants each customer to have the best experience as one would want.

The food, wow! There is so much you can choose from on the menu. I had order, garlic bread (Shared between 2 people), lasagna, and tiramisu. The lasagna must be the best ever lasagna I've ever had. It was a good wedge, balanced well with mince beef and the cream with a good layer of cheese on top. Tiramisu was also brilliant, couldn't fault it. After the food and before the bill we had been offered complimentary after drinks.

I'm sure we will be back when we visit...

The food wasn’t great. The pasta was very good but the pizzas not so much. The pizza bases were very biscuity which made for a supermarket quality pizza - didn’t taste very fresh. We ordered a couple of drinks off their gin menu, which were both incredibly sugary. The waiter working that night was lovely, the only problem was that he was the only waiter working that night. This meant a very slow service. It was nice that they brought a free starter to compensate, but we would’ve been happier if our mains were delivered much quicker. The wait was over 30 mins. It was a nice touch to give us all a free digestif. Overall, not the best restaurant, but probably the best of a bad bunch, considering the very touristy area. If you do go, definitely...

What an incredible restaurant! Having come here two days in a row, we wondered if we could find anything else on the menu which would tantalise our tastebuds, be we found it yet again! The restaurant is just incredible and one of the highlights from our trip! The food was absolutely fantastic, the service even better!

Highly recommend the Linguini Al manzo- absolutely incredible! And every single pasta dish will find a way to surprise you and make you wonder how they managed to harmonise each and every ingredient.

The wines complement each dish and with a fabulous (and so talented) waitress who knows which wines will tribute your dishes. Truly a...
