Avoid! It is the first morning of our holiday and choosing to write a review after our experience last night when I should be relaxing should speak volumes. Ordered mixed kebab and the pork meat was still red/pink in the middle. Complained and came back basically with the whole same dish double cooked again. Mixed leather springs to mind. Called it a day. Popped in to the bar area to pay for our starters (which were good) and move on. My god - Danny Devito type character of a waiter came storming up to me and basically assaulted me by pushing me square in the chest and warning me not to play the big man. Well, I don’t hit people smaller than me, nor people with glasses, nor the mentally challenged - I guess he took advantage of all of that. There then followed a rant of him having provided free drinks for us all night (restaurant hawker had offered us a free drink which unfortunately swung it to eat here and total time sat down approx 30 mins) and that we’d pay for one full meal. I politely but firmly said no. We paid for our starter AND our drinks and happily left our short visit to the parallel universe and returned to normality via the beautiful Chinese restaurant next door. My analogy is quite fitting as it was simply worlds...
Read moreAvoid this place. Slowest service in history. I had to wait 10 minutes for drinks after placing our order and still after 10 minutes I had to go ask if we will ever get them or not as it was really hot outside. Ordered mochito which Has nothing to do with Mochito - cherry on top - sweetest thing I ever had and not in good way - tasted like lime syrup a bit of alcohol and mint. Food which we got was not tasty at all and we couldn’t even finish it - thats how bad it was. I am not usually writing reviews but this was so bad I had to. 50€ wasted in drain. See picture of minestrone soup which didn’t taste too bad but didn’t look like minestrone soup at all and I can’t help the feeling it was knor instant minestrone soup from sachet. Swordfish overcooked and oversalted. Sauce for swordfish was meant to be white wine sauce tasted more like salty creamy sauce. Mussel pasta with mussels including barnacles - avoid if you want to keep all your teeth. Also on table salt and pepper shakers - pepper in both. Absolute nightmare - I feel sorry for people who will go there for a lunch, this place should be closed...

Together we had the pasta, mare (seafood) and Arabiatta. The restaurant considers itself an ‘authentic Italian’ and to be fair the food was good. The local wine, even better.
BUT the service wasn’t great. We seemed rushed in and out, and we didn’t receive the hospitality we expected from Paphos. The majority of the staff weren’t interested In anything other than getting us in and out as quickly as possible.
The only exception was Alexandra, a waitress who was wonderful and delightful. She gave service with a smile and was extremely friendly. Was happy to have a chat and make recommendations. Where was this service from the beginning?
Thank you to Alexandra, you made the evening enjoyable. Despite the men in charge...
