Zemmer all day — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Hi Zemmer! We’ve been coming to this café for over 3 years, probably 50 times or more. From time to time there were some issues, but everything always ended well. We like the food and the atmosphere.

Today we came again. The male waiter greeted us nicely, but then a female waitress came over and said that this table was reserved. We asked — for what time? It was obvious she didn’t know and just made something up, saying “for 10 a.m.”, even though it was already 10:10.

We asked if we could sit at another table, but she said it was “only for four people.” I don’t see the logic here: what if there are three of us? Or if I come alone — should I sit at a single table only? And we’re long-time customers who always order a lot and pay well.

Then she said that “everything is reserved,” although there wasn’t a single sign on any table. The only option she offered was the inner courtyard where people smoke and it’s stuffy.

So, our morning was spoiled, and we just left. Thanks for the service :) Please say hi to the waitresses — they seem to do their best to make sure people...

We visited this restaurant for brunch yesterday, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the beginning. We had made a reservation for 8 people, but when we arrived, we were given two separate tables a meter apart. After being seated, we waited around 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order, despite asking the waiter to come over. He seemed frustrated and unwilling to assist. Once we finally placed our order, we waited over 1 hour and 10 minutes and still no food arrived. When we asked the waitress about it, she assured us it would be ready in 10 minutes, but that never happened. Frustrated, we asked again if the food was actually coming soon or else we would leave, but instead of responding, the waitress completely ignored us. I understand that restaurants can get busy and unexpected delays in the kitchen may happen. However, making customers wait almost 1.5 hours for food and then being treated with such rudeness and disregard is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience left us very disappointed, and I cannot...

The service was awful. Not only did the food arrived late, when we asked the stuff about it they lied to us telling us they informed us that the food would be late. When the food finally arrived, the egg white(fried egg by the way) was uncooked. We informed this one waitress about it, she was trying to persuade me the uncooked part was normal. Only after i argued with her about the seriousness of the topic , she took my plate away in the kitchen. She came back with a smirk on her face, said they were sorry and they could offer me a discount on the bill, not a full refund on the plate and a sweet treat on the house. The discount ended up being 3€ off a 40€ something bill. Overall, its an overpriced place justified by the supposed quality of the food. Mistakes are made, however the stuff was very rude about it and didn’t even offer to replace my place or refund the whole plate which for me is the bear minimum.
