Tony's — Restaurant in Paralimni

Tony’s is a very nice place to visit, with great atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. The classic Greek specialties were absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the menu. However, I was less impressed with some of the other dishes. I wouldn’t recommend the “Football Platter for Two”, it consisted of spring rolls, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, and french fries that all seemed to come from frozen, semi-prepared products. The fried halloumi was far too oily as well. On the other hand, the garlic bread, souvlaki, and JD sauce were excellent. Overall, anything that could be made from frozen ingredients seemed to be, including the pizzas, which unfortunately weren’t homemade. Ordered king prawns and they came raw, was told this was because they don’t get cleaned? So changed to kalimari was told I wouldn’t like it as it would be the same, I assured the woman that I really enjoyed kalimari so I would enjoy it she said you better eat it? I think means she wouldn’t replace it again when it came out it was cooked but wasn’t good and had bad taste. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT, WE COMPLAINED AS 3 X CHICKEN KABAB MEALS WERE ALL UNDER COOKED AND THE CHICKEN WAS RAW. THE OWNER STARTED SHOUTING AND THREATENING WITH POLICE AS WE REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE 3 MEALS OUT OF A GROUP OF 10 OF US. ONE OF OUR PARTY WHO HAD THE KEBAB IS PREGNANT SO SERIOUS HEALTH RISKS HERE FOR UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN. HE SHOUTED AT THE WOMEN WHO HAD THE KEBABS AND TOLD THEM TO PAY UP OR HE WOULD GET THE POLICE. HIS SON THEN BECAME RACIST AND SAID "ALL TOU ENGLISH ARE THE SAME" HE CONTINUED TO SHOUT AT THE WOMEN IN FRONT OF ALL THE OTHER CUSTOMERS
