Starting with the good; The pizza is very good compared to the average in Brno. Unfortunately, it stops at that, and all the rest is very amateurish.

In no particular order:

40 minutes to get out a Margherita is too long. Some tables were given a pitcher of water, some not. Dark specks on a pizza are good. Charcoaled bubbles, not good. Hygiene is completely missing. Bringing a bowl of cherry tomatoes' halves, emptying it with your hands and arranging it on a platter with both hands is pretty bad. Trying to grate fresh goat cheese is going to create a mess . Especially if you hold it with bare hands and press on it like a madman (get a 24/36 months matured one. will have more taste too). I counted four people touching a pizza. The maker, a guy that sprinkled what looked like cheese, a girl that put rucola on it, and another guy that lifted it to put it in a box. All with bare hands. Put a bit of salt in your tomato sauce. A bit of pepper even??? Scissors are a good touch, but it does not matter as the ingredients slide off the pizza as soon as you lift a slice. Tomato sauce is too runny... The place is very noisy. Washing and clanging plates in the middle of service doesn't help.

To summarise, a tasty pizza that...

The flavors of the pizza were great. A bit more experimental. Better than most of the places in Brno I’ve tried so far.

Though I’d like to see 2 things to improve.

1: evenness of toppings, sometimes it was just onion, sometimes just cheese, and sometimes just salami. All wete great, but I’d love to have even taste profile across the whole meal

2: half of the edges were quite burnt. It wasn’t super bad, but ruined the experience of otherwise perfect crust.

Overall I think it’s something they’ll fix by tweaking here and there because they’re newly open.

Veľmi dlho som premýšľal, či túto recenziu zverejniť alebo nie ale myslím si, že by to tu malo zaznieť.

Mal som záujem kúpiť darčekový poukaz pre kamaráta, keďže som dostal tip, že je to nové miesto a že pizza je super. Napísal som teda správu na IG účet podniku (na ktorom podotýkam, že denne prebieha aktivita čo sa týka minimálne stories) s prosbou, či by bolo možné darčekový poukaz kúpiť (počítal som s tým, že je to nový podnik a že možno to ešte neriešia, takže som bol pripravený aj na odmietnutie). Každopádne, ani po týždni sa mi nedostalo žiadnej reakcie.

Presne o týždeň som sa teda rozhodol, že tam zájdem osobne, lebo som mal cestu okolo. Podnik bol naplnený asi spolovice, šiel som rovno k pultu, kde stála jedna pani. Než som sa stihol pozdraviť, tak sa ma spýtala, citujem: “Co hledám?”. Zaskočilo ma to ale vysvetlil som jej teda prosbu s poukazom aj to, že som im písal na IG. Ona mi na to povedala, znova citujem: “Jsme v provozu. Na IG určitě nepište, napište nám na mail.” Zaskočil ma jej prístup - podnik bol poloprázdny, nikto za mnou vo fronte nestál a ja som jej zjavne nestál ani za slušnú jednoduchú odpoveď. Ale OK, povedal som si, začínajúci podnik a možno má pani zlý deň.

Ešte ten deň som napísal mail s rovnakou prosbou, na ktorú som do dnešného dňa nedostal odpoveď.

Celá situácia prebehla v máji/květnu.

Nechal som si to dostatočne odležať, aby moja recenzia nebola emočná.

Tento prístup mi nepríde v poriadku. Ani po stránke profesionálnej, ani po stránke ľudskej. Mali 3 šance a všetky pokazili....
