I was told their to bone steak is good, but its really below average. Service is ok not good but not that bad also. Their couvert is, to put it simply, a joke. Also their pasta was weird.
Edit based on owner's answer: By letting a steak in refrigerator, you cannot call it aged. How do you age it? dry or wet? For sure it didn't taste like dry aged, and if it was wet aged (which is a bad way to age a meat if you want to enhance the flavor and make it more tender), it was for less than 28 days, for sure. Also, on the meat subject, we ordered it medium, it came full rare, with unappealing crust and really bland seasoning (I had to put some salt and pepper on my plate to make it palatable). Your pasta was advertised as spaghetti but what was served, was the size of an maccheroncini, maybe a larger than usual bucatini. The couvert, was in our table of 10 people, two small baskets, with 5 pieces of bread in each, when we pointed that in the end, it was charged only the couvert of 5 people instead of all 10, but still, I consider this a joke (and a bad one at that). BTW, it was almost charged 1kg steak when I ordered 700g. The waitress corrected that, but still....with the prices you charge, I was expecting much better...

(quoted) . A regular Italian place, that doesnt dissapoint but doesnt live up to its "hype"..which is also its downfall. Food: good ingredience, missing "theme/ concept," and underwhelming experience..besides soup, that one was great! Wine: great selection, poor presentation, and lack of pairing skills. Service: friendly, enthusiastic, but somewhat unprofessional (timing, pairing..) Atmosphere: a standard italien restaurant, nothing fancy, basement a bit austere. . Main pros: helpful staff, wide wine selection, good water price (a small gesture that counts). . Main cons: meals are oversalted and overspiced/overwhelming flavors (maybe the cook smokes or drinks?); There were strange bits in our seafood that the staff couldnt explain what they were (which is fairly concerning). . Read moreWe made a reservation for three of us for 7.30 pm on 5th October 2023. We turned up a couple of minutes ahead of time. We were shown to our table in a desultory manner - not even a 'good evening'.
We sat while two diners who came into the restaurant shortly after us were seated, immediately given menus and brought water. A group of six, two of whom had entered after us, were then moved to a bigger table. They, too, were provided with menus and drinks. By this time the table of two had their orders taken.
While we were in the restaurant, the waiting staff were attending other tables and walking past us to take food to the downstairs dining area. We were studiously ignored, not brought menus, never offered drinks, not even acknowledged with a 'I'll be with you shortly' - just ignored. At just after 7.40 we left - our departure neither registered nor acknowledged.
I can't speak for the atmosphere or the food or the price. I can say that being treated so rudely was not enjoyable.
