Eggo Truck Brno — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

The best place for an amazing breakfast or casual lunch. I usually go for my BLT in a bun - perfectly cooked and seasoned eggs with sauce I am yet to figure out, what is it made off. My daughter said it must be love and teamwork - she is right. You can probably get omelette in loads of places in Czech republic, but in Eggo, you get such a warm welcome, you never want to leave. But you should, cos the place is small and there are queues! But you come back as you never know what special they have "under counter" - my personal favourite - 3eggs in a coupe glass - basically poached eggs got make over done right. The coffee is great, though can't judge the latte art as I do not mess my coffee with milk :-) You can have fresh juices, natural wines and some limited beers too. Nice breakfast options. I strongly recommend to make a reservation, especially on a weekend day, otherwise you will wait for a free table, as my friend and I needed to. This is clearly on us for not taking care of this in advance. The offer of breakfast is sufficient and I can't totally deny creativity of the cooks making the menu. I had egg in a glass with horse radish cream for my breakfast on one Saturday morning. The meal was totally an unique experience. What a great addition to the breakfast / brunch scene in Brno! Besides the classics such as eggs Benedict (which apparently is a must in every cafe in Brno) they have a few original options such as their signature scrambled eggs and BLT & egg sandwiches or the Czech version of a "French toast" which is a salty version made with sourdough bread, topped with ham and served with a soft-boiled egg on the side. Super delicious! They don't take reservations, so best to come early (before 10am) to avoid...
