So this restaurant was a hit and miss for me. Let's start with the good:
Interior design is very nice with a warm and cozy feeling especially in winter
friendly staff who speak English
great Central location
Now the negative which is all based.on the menu.
The menu is not varied and more specific and if you are like me a little picky you will NOT like the menu. For example in the meat section it is either veal or steak, no burgers or chicken options or even pork. So if you don't eat steak or veal your stuck.
So my next go to would be a vegetarian option which was risotto or lasagna and again it has beef so if your not feeling beef let's hope you like risotto.
The entire menu had one fish option but was in the specials and included pumpkin and the entire special menu was pumpkin related, being from the UK we don't really like pumpkin anything.
This was a Czech restaurant but no kofola so I asked for Pepsi and guess what no Pepsi either only coca cola. Which coca cola is way to fizzy and sweet taste compared to Pepsi so I settled for cappy jahoda.
And settled for the starter only which was goat cheese with honey. I must say it was amazing.
But overall the menu is very bad and not varied with limited options in each section and if you are looking for Czech food this is not the place.
Prices are very high, so for one fish main and my cheese starter with strawberry cappy and one cocktail the price was 1000 czk which was very high considering we are not...

Menu doesn't match English translation? Ordered fish with mashed potatoes (this is what English translation said), but it came out with baked(?) potatoes. To my question: " weren't there mashed potatoes on the menu?" the waitress immediately answered "no". After checking the menu herself and seeing "mashed potatoes" there, she claimed it was the wrong translation and left to the kitchen.
After additional waiting another person brought fish with mashed potatoes, though no explanation, no apologies for mix up and waiting. It came with some heavy mayo-based tartar-like sauce, which didn't really match the dish, and was missing a simple lemon slice. Overall it had too much potatoes and was missing some vegetables.
The chocolate cake itself was very good, though I would not call it 'creamy' (as the English menu says) - it had a brownie-like texture. Though sweet sauce with anise it came with didn't match imho...
