Roburrito — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

The tacos were unfortunately not that good considering the price we paid. We paid 11,29€ for (below) average tasting tacos, I think one taco cost 70 CZK (there was no option to get a combo of 3 or 4 tacos to get a better price). Each taco came with 2 tortillas, which was weird and caused the tacos to taste "dry"/like flour in the end. The meat was disappointing, especially al pastor. It's up to you which toppings & salsas you put on your tacos and how much.

I would probably add an additional ⭐ if the price was different...

Update (reply to owner's feedback): Thank you for giving me this insight, the 2 tortillas would definitely make sense in case the meat or salsas were juicy but I wouldn't say this was the case with our fillings (maybe we could have used more salsa?).

Funnily enough, when we visited Bistro Bastardo a few minutes later, their taco filling was too juicy and it made the tortillas soggy really quickly, so the perfect balance would probably be...

A little piece of Mexican greatness in Brno. So much better than all of the other options available in the city. Excellent burritos, the bigger, the better, the pico de gallo sauce is amazing. Great mood by the workers, adherence to Covid protection rules, magnificent spice on the food taste, affordable prices. My only constructive criticism was that the tacos size is way too small and the taco ought to be made with chips not with flour wrap. Bohužel musím se podělit o špatnou zkušenost s touto restaurací. Objednával jsem si Burrito Grande přes aplikaci Wolt v 19:40. Nevím, zda-li byla ovlivněna kvalita přípravy tortily nezkušeným personálem, spěcháním k uzavření restaurace nebo kombinací obou, ale musím říci, že jsem byl velice zklamán.

Tortila dorazila zabalená ve voskovém papíru s nálepkou, tudíž nelze vinu házet na kurýra. Tortila byla už od prvního pohledu uvnitř mokrá. Bohužel moje obavy se naplnily a po otevření jsem byl uvítám sprškou šťávy. Kdybych byl někde venku a tohle se mi stalo a dostalo by se mi to na oblečení, tak bych byl opravdu naštvaný. Tortila na dotyk nebyla pořádně utažena a bylo vidět, že ji balil někdo nezkušený, nebo ve spěchu. A pokud je náplní rýže a fazole, tak mi věřte, že to není příjemná zkušenost.

Další problém byla chuť. Zde můžu přímo porovnat s restaurací Los Capolitos a bohužel musím říct, že tortile chyběl cheddar a smetana. Zelenina nebyla skoro cítit, tortila byla naplněna rýží a fazolemi a maso se nacházelo až ve spodní části tortily, takže si dovolím odhadnout, že to byla hlavní příčina vytečení.

Fazole a rýže byly mdlé. Omáčka nebyla přílis pálivá a maso si člověk kvůli homogenitě rozložení ani nemohl pořádně užít. Porce hmotnostně vypadala ok, ale přiznám se, že jsem dost zalitoval utracených peněz zde.

Další velkou nevýhodu hodnotím velice omezené možnosti personalizace tortily. Opět, zde musím poukázat na Los Capolitos, které toto má nastaveno na výbornou. Já osobně jsem s mexickou kuchyní začal právě tam a chtěl jsem poznat i další kladně hodnocené restaurace v Brně a tohle mě opravdu...
