Lovely park, really big nice walks and wasn't a steep as it looks ! Walked up to the castle is about 20 mins taking our time. Unfortunately when we got to the castle it was closed due to the ice and weather that day. Oh well, guess we will have to return ! Park itself was lovely, I'd especially in icy conditions so I can only imagine how amazing it is in summer ! Very well maintained, lovely view points of the city and lots of benches for a rest. If looking to pass time while in Brno I'd recommend visiting this park!

Very cool and interesting expositions at very fair price. However, make sure you have plenty of time for it. We spent two hours on the exposition, the clerk said we would not have time for everything. Sadly though, the first level has very limited information in English and is mostly in Czech. Some places had a booklet in English but it was very difficult to follow which segment matched which panel. Also, while some rooms had booklets in French for example, others did not. So it's not very co consistent. Otherwise, quite interesting.

The second time coming back to this place, the last time was winter. and this time it is fall. It was amazing with the surrounding scenery seen from the castle. As for the castle, there are a lot of things to talk about, like history, domination, prisons, etc. Just refers to the scene here. Autumn is very beautiful, more tourists than last time I came. From the castle you can zoom in and look around the city of Brno.

Great view of the entire city from the castle. During my visit (March 2018), there was some reconstruction work going on, but didn't seem to affect normal visitor operations. There is a charge for entering the main part of the castle, but it is free to walk around the surrounding gardens (which are beautiful) and the inner walls of the fortification.

Made the Brno pass and came here early in the morning at 7am as it showed it opens online around 6 or 7, can't remember. Arrived there and read on the sign the castle opens at 9am so because we had other places to see and stop with our pass, we had to just look around outside and leave. Total rip off, beware. Place outside boring and nothing to see.

Nice place for a family walk with a beautiful view on the whole city. From time to time there are some events organized there like the Witch burning event on the 30th of April that we were able to attend. There was a great opportunity to grill, try local Czech wine&beer and see the huge bonfire😊
