A wonderful place, much nicer than nearby "Prazakuv palac". It combines tradition and modern trends. The space is quite wonderful and the exhibition fresh and dynamic. I love the coffee area, where you get served by a robot! The designer peaces sold by reception are also a great touch. This is perhaps the best art/muzeum place to visit in brno. (far better than technical museum or mendel museum). Space to improve: the glass and porcelan area is rather messy, without highlights, theme, story or guidance. They shall hire professionals to fix this. Currently, this display really downgrades the experience as you can barely see half of the item and you still dont know what you are looking at. . Free entrance for the general and paid entrance for the temporary exhibitions. I dont give 5* often but here we go. Time needed for...

The museum itself has multiple floors and there are also multiple expositions happening at the same time. A café with a robotic arm that prepares your drink is located on the ground floor. Since I was leaving close to closing time of the place, I missed ordering a drink in that café. Maybe the next time. You can buy some design products at the cash desk. They are real pieces done by artists, so the prices are not low. But if you are into this kind of things, you will surely find something that you like. I appreciated lockers and a coat hanger at the entrance. You can leave your things and a backpack, if you have any, as it's not allowed to take one to the...
Read moreAt first, the gallery seemed nice, but everything changed when we tried to buy tickets. Since we had never been there before, we went straight to the counter, assuming all exhibitions required payment. The cashier, Aruka, told us the price and asked if we had student IDs but didn’t mention that most exhibitions were free. We bought the tickets and entered the first hall, where we were surprised to learn that only one exhibition upstairs required payment. When we went back to ask for a refund, they refused, and instead of admitting her mistake, Aruka started blaming us and complained that, because of us, she couldn’t have her lunch. The unprofessionalism and poor service completely ruined our experience—I do not recommend visiting...
