Foggy Karlovy Vary shisha lounge bar — Restaurant in okres Karlovy Vary

I’ll split my review into two reviews. First of all shisha: Best Shisha in Karlovy vary - this is true. 100% true. Keep in mind - we are very spoiled and experienced shisha smokers - we tried best places from Russia to USA. What can I say about foggy - if you explain what you want, you will get what you want! Foggy shisha is much much better compared to many places, and shisha masters are always listening to what you want. Also for me a big part of experience is not just the shisha, but the vibe. Vibe of foggy is something special, you need to feel it. Go for a walk, drink some mineral water, have a cerny kozel at Narodak, swim at Thermal, eat a local kebab or tatarak and go to Foggy. You’ll feel welcomed, you’ll taste a good shisha, you’ll get excellent service. You can sit inside enjoying a cozy atmosphere or outside ( two locations available ) if you want to enjoy some summer weather while smoking your shisha. Definitely worth a visit!!

Second review: sushi. Sushi is a recent addition to Foggy menu. I can say that sushi is the second reason to go to Foggy :) it is something special ! If you got tired of south eastern ( Vietnamese ) style of sushi in CZ, go to Foggy! Sushi menu is prepared by a well known chef, and we were pleasantly surprised by both taste and quality. First of all, let’s start with something simple - Miso soup. It is pleasantly exquisite, with strong bullion, sesame seeds, smoked unagi ( eel ), and surprisingly unexpected gentle seaweed. Very very much different to a usual miso you have tasted. There is also a good choice of “common” sushi like Philadelphia, California and guncans, but they have a VERY good amount of fish, their taste is excellent and what is VERY important for me - RICE is tasty. Right now there is also a special menu item - duck sushi with avocado, which have a nice refreshing and exquisite taste. A pleasure, nothing to add. You can feel and taste that they were made with passion. Overall, if you are a hedonist and you want to get the best out of this life, if you are enjoying your stay in Karlovy Vary - start your evening journey with Foggy, or end your day here - you will not regret it. FYI: there is also a delivery service available for sushi - try it!

They say they close at 3:00 am on their website, Facebook page, Instagram and Google. I walked in at 23:30 and asked for the menu. The waiter rudely answered that he was closing in 30min and refused to let me see it. I asked if there would still be time for you hookah session, he gave a short and hard "NO".

I went outside to check their working hours on the sign fixed on the entrance - to update their info on Maps and plan my visit for the next day -, but it also said open until 3:00. Went back inside and asked "Until what time will you be opened tomorrow?".

I stared at him for a couple seconds, as there were three tables with people smoking shisha and drinking, I was asking to be seated and he was refusing service. So he added.

But these people will leave in the next half hour.

Vypravil jsem se do Karlových Varů, abych zjistil, jaká je tady kvalita dýmkařských podniků. A jelikož se tu nachází podnik frenšízy Foggy, tak začneme rovnou tam.

Podnik je zvenku velmi dobře vidět, díky ceduli na zdi domu. Rozkládá se pod úrovní ulice, takže I v horkém letním dni je tady příjemně chladno. Trošku mi vadilo, že nemají žádná okna, takže člověk rychle ztratí pojem o čase, ale čerstvý vzduch zajišťuje ventilace a otevřené dveře. Cihlový motiv na zdech, obrazy a malby dodávají interiéru na kráse a nepůsobí lacině, což budiž plusem. A když k tomu přidáme pohodlné sezení v křesílkách, nebo na gaučích pod nerušivým tlumeným osvětlením, vznikne zatím nejpříjemnější dojem z podniku téhle frenšízy. Navíc tu mají i zahrádku, takže se dá v hezkém počasí posedět s dýmkou i venku.

K pití jsme zkusili Gin&Tonic, který byl dobrý, ale málo ginu a Piňacoladu, která byla výborná a příjemně nás překvapila.

Do dýmky jsme si nechali nabít mix DS – Red T, Forrest Fruits a Supernovy. Za 15 minut od objednání už byla dýmka u stolu, což je hodně fajn čas, ale je potřeba vzít v úvahu, že jsme přišli chvilku po otevření. Intenzitou to bylo přesně tak silné, jak jsme si přáli, někde kolem sedmičky a chuťově k mému překvapení velmi dobře nabitá korunka. Uhlí nám měnili každých cca 17 minut, díky čemuž nám dýmka jela něco málo přes hodinu a čtvrt, než začala ztrácet chuť a tabák se začal pálit.

Za naši hodinovou session o dvou drincích jsme v podniku nechali 600,- Kč, což je podle mě za tenhle zážitek trochu víc, než bych čekal. Přesto byl tohle zatím můj nejlepší dymkařský zážitek v podniku frenšízy Foggy a po zklamáních, která skýtají jejich Pražské pobočky jsem byl...
