I am writing it with deep disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my visit to Pepe Lopez last Friday. I had been thoroughly enjoying the ambience, and the food was satisfying as well. My boyfriend and I ordered sangria, and everything seemed fine until I reached the end of my drink. To my horror, I noticed three flies floating in it. Given the ice and the nature of the drink, I hadnāt noticed them earlier, which means I may have unknowingly consumed even more. This is absolutely unacceptable in any establishment, let alone one with a reputation like yours. I was understandably upset and expected a certain level of professionalism and courtesy when I brought this to the staff's attention. However, the response I received from the lady attending our table was nothing short of rude and dismissive. Instead of offering an apology or any gesture of goodwill, she responded with an offensive remark: "Tell me what can I do now, youāre about to finish it." Her attitude was beyond unprofessional. It's not just about the flies although that's a serious issue in itself but also about how customers are treated when they raise a concern. A simple apology or, at the very least, offering to refund the drink would have been the decent thing to do. Instead, I left feeling disrespected, frustrated, and with my Friday evening ruined before it even began. I had a long day and didnāt see the owner present at the time, otherwise, I would have addressed this directly with him/her. I truly hope you are made aware of this situation and take it seriously. An establishment like Pepe Lopez should hold itself to higher standards, both in terms of hygiene and customer service. I order chicken Cesar salad with my beer , after long time i got my salad but it was the shock even I didnāt touch it I smelled something strange in the salad , like a dirty fish inside, i asked the not kind waiter with the black hair to change for me the salad for something else , in the end after i finish I asked for the bill , and this waiter asked to paid 385 kÄ for salad and beer but she included the dirty fishy salad the i bring it back !! The other waitress (young and blonde) was pretty arrogant and not really there. When we asked for her opinion, she didnāt recommend anything and didnāt really help us with the order. We waited an hour for our order with no apology, even tho the restaurant was completely empty and they had just the outside area to take care of. Other people that came after us got their meals before us. The food was ok for a restaurant that is trying to cook Mexican food, but I would never call it Mexican food.
