Diego Beer Bar — Restaurant in Prague

Nice location and always super atmosphere. There's always decent beer and quite good food here. My friends and I often meet here for the weekend or just for having a great time after work. But there are some issues with some of the waiters. A waitress brought a beer and literally threw it at me. The beer spilled on the table. The waitress did not react in any way. On my additional request to bring napkins, she reacted sharply, adding that she knows what to do herself and it’s not my business to add any remarks. Then she brought napkins, threw them on my table and left. I think that a minimum of politeness and respect should be present in the staff. The mood and the whole vibe was spoiled. After several days of Czech food, we were in need of a change. But not that big a change, I still wanted beer! So this downstairs hole in the wall in Karlin looked like just what the doctor ordered. Lively feel, looks like a fun, neighborhood hangout. We bellied up at the bar, and ordered from the dozen or so microbrews. All good stuff. We got quesadillas and chorizo tacos. The quesadillas were amazing, they had black beans in there, really tasty. The tacos were also good, but the chorizo was actually sliced bits of saucage instead of cooked minced chorizo, so it was kinda weird. But all in all, good food, great beer, decent...

The place is located in a cellar with no sunlight but on evenings it doesn't really matter.

Food is okay no surprise no disappointment - it's chzech mex - Czech versions of Hispanic food.

The beer is terrible - mostly weird breweries but the tap technique makes beers here a total trash - it just tastes terrible. If you want explore variety of beer - try some other place. If you wanna hang out with friends it's okay. I've been there 20+ times and...
