Best TRADITIONAL Czech Cuisine. This was the best meal we had in the entire city of Prague. I think the bar owner waited on us. He had a great personality and took really good care of us. We told him we just wanted a traditional Czech meal and didn't care what he brought as long as it was traditional. To our delight the guy brought us four shots of a local whiskey, an appetizer with a local cheese and sausage that was so good, followed by a duck dish for the ladies that was to die for and a fried pork dish for the men. We also had several rounds of beer and dessert that was a koloche ( a traditional czech pastry) and a danish. He also explained the different areas of the country where the food and drinks came from. By far my favorite part of the trip and that says a lot for this city. I swear this guys grandmother must of been in the kitchen cooking. Everything tasted like a gourmet chef cooked it with the love of a czech grandmother. There were four of us eating and drinking and it was under $100 which we felt was very cheap for what we got. We honestly thought the guy didn't charge us for a lot of what we ate and when we questioned the waiter he said no that was correct and that included the tip. Great job your guys...

Racist waiters, be aware! On April 10, 2024, at 8 p.m., I just arrived at the place with my wife after a tough work shift to have some beer in the evening. The main entrance barman/waiter was extremely unpleasant; he didn't like my accent in Czech and was very rude to me without any reason. Then, after sitting, he brought the menu and asked if there was something to drink. I chose the first beer option, where it says ask the waiter for actual beer, pointed to the option, and very nicely asked to bring two of them. He again didn't like that we are not locals and made me read aloud in front of all the bars what is written there in Czech so he could make a joke of me. I have personally worked nine years as a waiter in different places, and I never ever met such an unprofessional approach to the work.The management of this place needs to take action and prevent such rude, unprofessional personnel from ruining their...

We arrived the place on time of our reservation and got refused by one and only answer: "sportsbar is closed". None of explanation, none of courtesy, none of customer satisfaction; travelled there under heavy rain and had to leave immediately. Sportsbar was not closed obviously as there are a lot of people inside preparing for the next match. We couldn't understand the issue as staff didn't tell anything but had terrible experience for sure.

Be ready to change your plans spontaneously even if you have a confirmed reservation by this place :) strongly recommend to check other places to follow...
