Also, it was unfortunate that they didn’t have quite a few dishes from the menu. Furthermore, a wider selection of wines per glass would be nice. Prices on a higher end for Prague. Overall, great place but some dishes could be better fine tuned.

Resido en Praga y es la primera vez que experimento una sensación de auténtica familiaridad. Al recibirnos con una cálida bienvenida y mientras decidíamos qué pedir, nos sirvieron una fresca ensalada de lentejas, aceitunas y una gilda, destacando la anchoa en salazón que evocaba los sabores del Norte de España. Mientras el chef preparaba la paella en la cocina abierta, disfrutamos de un vino "Glorioso", un tinto Rioja del País Vasco, 100% tempranillo, ideal para acompañar los exquisitos entrantes ibéricos que seleccionamos: jamón, chorizo y lomo. A los españoles nos caracteriza la espontaneidad, y dado que tanto los propietarios como el chef comparten esta cualidad, pudimos pedir gradualmente según nos apetecía, con la misma naturalidad e improvisación que en nuestra tierra. Así, también solicitamos una tortilla de patata recién hecha, con una textura melosa en el interior, y una tabla de queso curado acompañado de dulce membrillo y nueces, una combinación clásica y deliciosa que prepara el paladar para los platos principales. El broche de oro fue la paella: el arroz en su punto perfecto; los pimientos de padrón, abundantes y sabrosos; y los taquitos de jamón, que impregnaban de sabor cada bocado, acompañando un jugoso secreto ibérico en el centro. Con una atención cercana, una comida excelente y un vino de calidad, nos sentimos como en casa. El barrio de Karlin puede estar orgulloso de albergar el único, verdadero y auténtico restaurante español en Praga. Sin duda, volveremos.

Great addition to Karlin, maybe slightly less polished than some places in the neighborhood, but as a result you have a lot less pretenstion and a lot more value. Tapas was excellent, wine and cocktails delicious and very reasonably priced - someone here is clearly very good at sourcing and importing quality ingredients. Service was friendly and attentive, even offering us a larger table when we arrived with one more person than in our booking. We will be back soon to try the paella 🥘❤️

I recently visited this Spanish food place. I live in Prague for 12 years, I'm Spanish and I don't go often to Spanish restaurants. However due to work we had a team building here. I can confirm all the food taste like in Spain which I have not found on other Spanish restaurants, hence I don't use to go to Spanish restaurants here in Prague. This place has changed my mind: good rations, lot of quality, very friendly staff, I really recommend it. If I would to remark something negative, I just missed at least one brand of Czech beer, but at least I had tinto de verano, which is not the same, but good enough (since I live in Prague I can't stand Spanish beer anymore 😁) Muy...

This Spanish restaurant really makes justice to proper Spanish food. Meatballs in tomato sauce are delicious, I would love to know how to cook that sauce! I reluctantly tried the paella with vegetables and mushrooms: definitely top 3 I have ever had! Amazing flavors, we licked the plate clean. The tortilla is cooked to perfection, the right amount of moisture inside, withour having raw egg woozing out. I tried the tortilla 3 times, twice was perfect and once dry. You can tell a good Spanish restaurant by the quality of Sangria - try it here! Nothing to do with the cheap tasting sweet versions in turisty places. Staff is soo warm. Love...
