Our visit to Pivovar Sv. Norbert was a delightful experience that we highly recommend. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of the Strahov Monastery, the atmosphere is both relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

You should reserve as a group! As a couple they might be flexible. The kitchen is fast. Once ordered you will served within minutes. Now you think wow that's fast hopefully it's not a cantina and the food doesn't sit there for a while before you even entered the Restaurant. Well the truth is probably the different components from our meals were already premade and no it's great! We ate goulash and sirloin with bohemian dumplings which came with the exact amount of sauce. I have a feeling that every menu will taste wonderful. So you don't have to play minesweeper in the menu. The self brewed beer does fit perfectly to the served food. As dessert which we not needed because we where already full sets the crown on top. A salty caramel cheesecake and a apple strudel with vanilla sauce and whipped cream. I don't missed the vanilla ice. The Saint Norbert brewery is an integral part of the Strahov Monastery, right next to Prague Castle. First of all, the beer is marvelous, produced by the monastery itself, using homegrown hops. I had an Amber light special and a dark lager on tap and both were exquisite. The place is always packed so either make a reservation or be prepared to have your beer standing at one of the standing tables, or sharing a table with strangers, if there is a spot. I've noticed the staff being accused of racism, which is pure nonsense. The staff is overwhelmed with orders and really jave just enough time to serve you and move on to the next customer. They are attentive and will ask you if you'd like anything else from time to time. I would only suggest installing more taps so that they can relieve the queues and shorten the waiting time.
