From the outside, Bistro Loreta looked like a dark and empty pub with benches outside, which we initially sat ourselves at. However, we were escorted through the bar into the spacious and sunny courtyard behind, with beautiful vines and creepers adorning the walls. Each table was decorated with a vase of flowers, and ours was visited by a cute solitary bee. I ordered the beef goulash, which came with a side of hash browns and shredded potato pancakes, as well as a dark beer. The beef goulash was rich, savoury, juicy, and tender! I also found that the potato pancakes (blended with light herbs) complimented the creamy goulash broth particularly well. Overall, a really pleasant and relaxing place for lunch.
The waiter that so kindly attended to us spoke English perfectly too, so don't worry if you can't speak Czech! Perhaps a suggestion to the owner would be to display a large photo of your beautiful courtyars with a sign, "Courtyard...
