When I saw that there was a wine bar so close to where we were staying in Prague, I was keen to try it, though admittedly I found the name of the place a poor choice. When we arrived, I was surprised to find quite a few of the wines on the menu were UK supermarket wines (19 Crimes, Trapiche, Matua, etc.), and not the best ones at that. The amount we paid for 1 dl glasses of several wines was patently absurd compared to the value of a bottle, and when we tried the cheaper wines from the tap at 60 koruny a dl, they were barely drinkable. On top of that, when we were served, the server told us nothing about the wines and seemed neither knowledgeable nor interested.
