From today, 9 Sep, here in Prague it started being mandatory to wear facemasks in all common areas. We were really shocked seeing the bartender absolutely without a mask and serving a coffee to the clients. No distance between customers, there is only a super small mini piece of paper, where is written with a pen "please keep the distance". Ok, coming back to the coffee: the bartender is very tired and indifferent already in the morning, 10AM. But that's not the worst thing... surprisingly they do not accept credit cards..ok, we tried to pay by cash, but she refused the payment, saying that there is no change from 1000 CZK! Eventually, we left the place without coffee, so I'm not able to write if it was good or bad. Summarizing: no credit card and no change... Very weird...

Read moreI really enjoy finding and trying specialty coffee. There's a lot of great coffee in Prague, but Cafe Alegre just stood out from the reset...immediately. Their staff is very kind, effective, and knowledgeable. Their coffee is very, very....very good. I've tried them at the farmer's market in Pankrac and at the farmer's market by the waterfront. It hits different. I can't wait to go to their main physical location and go broke buying all of their specialty variations. VERY VERY good job,...
