I was in this location yesterday 3/17 to place a Togo order around 7:00 pm. Unfortunately yesterday while waiting in line 2 guys got into an altercation and one of the guys walked in the store towards the other guy pointing a gun wrapped in towel. The lobby was full of people and children that were all crying afraid and ran to the back bathroom. This traumatic ordeal went on for a least 15 min while the staff nor store isn’t responsible what was appalling was the response. The whole time this is going on the kitchen manager I saw the name tag said Kourtney watched the whole time and did nothing making her kitchen staff continue to process orders. She came from behind the corner asked one of the boys involved what was going on and proceeded to go to the back to make orders. She even still allowed one of the guys involved to order food and wait for it instead of asking everyone involved in the situation to leave. There were customers holed up in the bathroom for over 20 min and even after she never made any attempt to even call the authorities to secure the safety of herself, staff, nor the patrons present in the store. She watched what happened and still never called the police she even allowed them to stay in the store and wait for their order while store patron and children are crying in the back of the store. I’m aware that this store has cameras that recorded this entire ordeal which is why I will be moving my complaint further than this google review because what I and everyone present in the store experienced was sheer trauma. I’m aware that you can’t control other people’s actions but the response from the staff was absolutely disgusting I have never seen such blatant disregard to human life. I placed a pickup order through the app (I live nearby), and while I understand pickup food can sometimes lose a bit of freshness, this order was noticeably off. Everything was cold, soggy, and tasted old, as if it had been sitting for a while before being packed. The biggest issue was the lack of spice and flavor. I ordered my cauliflower sandwiches in medium and hot, but both were completely bland. The stickers on the containers said “no spice” and “medium,” which might’ve been a labeling mix-up — but neither sandwich had any heat or seasoning at all. The breading was undercooked, soggy, and falling apart, making it hard to even eat. As a vegan, I don’t have many options around here, and this used to be one of my reliable go-tos.
