I went here this past weekend for a rooftop RnB event. I initially had a tank top-esque shirt and shorts on. When I got to the door, the security guard told me that my shirt was not allowed and I’d need to change in order to come in. I’ve heard this at other places, so I told them it was no problem and I went home to change my shirt. When I returned, there was another security guard at the door. When he looked at me (I still had my shorts on), he directed me to the guard who originally told me about my shirt. That guard told me I was good (did not pat me down or look in my bag, which is TOTALLY fine) and I entered. When I got in I saw two men with ACTUAL wife beater undershirts on and several guys with shirts on cut like the shirt I originally had on. For context, I am a gay man, (openly, not flamboyantly) so I feel I was clearly discriminated against. The problem was not my shirt. The problem was my apparent sexuality. I’m not saying that the management of this place had anything to do with the actions of the security guards, but if this place is inclusive, they should let their staff know to not let their personal feelings about people’s perceived lifestyles effect their integrity when it comes to their responsibilities. It’s sad that in 2025 things like this are still happening. Anyway, the DJ for the event was great. Not sure if he was employed by Reset, but he was on point. I won’t be returning...

Yall!! DAVID didn’t let us in because instead of hearing us out about the parking situation outside he told the doorman not to let us in because we were too loud. Mind you the valet service THAT THEY HIRED told us we would be towed so we decided to valet. And they straight denied us entry into the establishment. It wasn’t until we EXPLAINED the situation to DAVID that he then offered an apology yet still didn’t give us permission to enter what he referred to as “ HIS CLUB” .
The fact that we got denied access because of parking is CRAZY!! It has NOTHING to do with the establishment itself! And the fact that instead of actually figuring out what’s going on before denying us entry is beyond unprofessional and straight out rude.
The valet was doing nothing but HELPING us NOT get towed but instead of DAVID hearing and addressing the noise and listens to OUTSIDE sources who knew NOTHING about the situation but showed THEIR GUN. I just can’t believe it at this point.
I’ve never been treated that way and it’s so sad at the end of the day that you let 7 PAYING customers walk away from potentially giving the business money all because again DAVID DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND DIDNT BOTHER WITH US TO HEAR US OUT!! Lessons learned with reset and I’m...
Read moreThe actual place is really nice. However I made reservations in advance for a birthday party. I reserved a section for a Saturday night about 2 months in advance. Close to the event date I realized I needed some info such as... can I bring a cake, what kind of night it was. I specifically asked on the message if it was going to be an R&B night because online they raved about their R&B nights. Going back and forth through messages with reset staff they never told me what type of night it was so I assumed that we would at least hear regular music by the DJ and to my surprise it was an EDM night. I wish they would advise in advance this type of stuff. I was so disappointed because it was really not my type of vibe. So me and my guests tried to make the best of it. The server was great... her name was Cass... very attentive and friendly. Thank you Cass for constantly checking on us. But the type of night with that EDM music all night...
