My girlfriend and I had been going to friends for quite some time, and even allowed for minor slip ups and replacement of food items, without being asked. But one time just culminated into urter disaster. My girlfriend and I decided to split a snack basket prior to the main course. She is rather picky and doesn't really like the mozerella sticks or cheese poppers, but the basket usually contains a bit more variety with onion rings and fries. We get the basket, without any fries and two measly looking onion rings. That not being the worst part, when I but down on the chili cheese popper it turned out to be frozen on the inside. Not lukewarm or cold. Frozen. We told the server our predicament, and she politely asked if we wanted it redone, but thanked no, due to items that had been removed or partially exchanged. Next up the main course. The burger looked the part, but unfortunately I didn't get around to tasting it, sunget the onion rings on the plate were clearly reused from the basket we just sent back, and the fries were burnt on the outside and frozen in the center. We once more adressed the server, who brought out their cocky and insulting head chef, who told us that they werent able to do better and if we didn't like it, we could just get lost. So we did. We left the place, never to return - and I advise people to stay...
Read moreI visited Friends Restaurant for brunch, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The waiters were not friendly at all—they looked grumpy and unwelcoming, which really affected the overall vibe of the place.
Also, if you book the brunch during the last time slot, don’t expect them to refill the food. Once something runs out, they simply say “there’s none left” instead of bringing out more, even though the brunch is supposed to be all-inclusive.
Honestly, I expected better service and hospitality. Not recommended if you’re going for an...
Read moreWe got to try their brunch buffet here. It was a solid selection, but not anything special - perhaps, overall, the food was a bit too salty for my taste. They did have a chocolate fountain you could dip bananas in, and that was quite fun. We found their menu on a website, where the buffet was cheaper than it said in real life, which was a bit disappointing. The drinks were also quite expensive, so we opted not to buy any. The seating was kind of close to other customers, but you still got the feeling of privacy. Overall, the cafe was alright, not anything...
