The circus theming is nice, and staff were very friendly and accommodating. As a solo diner, I thought it might be a bit awkward, but the staff made me feel welcome, and I had a very pleasant experience. You order through the app - the dishes are brought straight to your table, and for cocktails, the app pings you when your drink is ready to be picked up at the bar. The recommended amount is 4-5 dishes per person. Personally, I enjoyed all the food, but the seasonal crayfish risotto in particular was delicious. The cocktails were prepared very quickly, but in my opinion they tasted a bit too much like cocktail syrups. The food came fairly quickly as well, even though a lot of reviews seem to say they had to wait a long time. However, when I asked to pay using a card machine at the restaurant, I was told that this was not possible and that the only way was to pay through the app. I didn't mind, but it's something to keep in mind if you don't want to or can't use an app for ordering/paying. However, they are able to print out a paper receipt for you if needed. Overall, I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to visit this place with friends...

If you are a group of people who want a cozy evening, I would probably choose a "real" restaurant which is a little more cozy.

You have to order your food and drinks via their app then the service, which requires you to download it.

You collect your drinks yourself from the bar when you receive an SMS that they are ready.

The food is, however, brought to the table, but since it is minimal service that you experience, I will refrain from commenting on this.

Pincho Nation i Aalborg er ikke som andre restauranter. Og det er virkelig ment som en kompliment. Det føles lidt som at træde ind i en farverig kabaret af mad, cocktails og app-bestillinger – som om nogen har krydset et teater, en food truck og en TikTok-video og sagt: "Lad os bare køre med det."

Lokalerne er alt andet end kedelige. Du sidder ikke bare ved et bord – du er pludselig med i en kulisse. Der er glimmer, fløjl og nok farver til at vække selv den mest grå tirsdag. Stemningen er livlig, energisk og lidt fjollet – på den helt rigtige måde.

Og så er der appen. Ja, du bestiller alt via app’en. Det føles i starten lidt som om, man skal til eksamen i brugervenlighed, men når man først har fanget det, er det faktisk ret smart – og lidt som at spille et spil, hvor præmien er mad.

Maden? Den er fin. Ikke fantastisk, men fuldstændig som forventet. Det er tapas-inspireret, portionerne er små, men smagen er god, og det hele kommer i et tempo, hvor man kan nå både at hygge og være lidt sulten igen mellem retterne. Det er ikke en gastronomisk åbenbaring – men det skal det heller ikke være. Det er sjovt, let og lækkert.

Servicen er venlig og hurtig – lidt bag kulissen, fordi alt foregår digitalt, men de er der, når man har brug for dem. Og de smiler, hvilket altid trækker op.

Helhedsoplevelsen? Den er virkelig sjov. Du kommer ikke bare for maden – du kommer for hele pakken. Det er gennemført anderledes, lidt fjollet, lidt glitrende og helt klart et sted, du både bør opleve og komme tilbage til, især hvis du har brug for et afbræk fra hvide duge og tung sauce.
