Service Definitely needs some serious improvement in service management. Dirty tables (how can you set a table without wiping it first goes beyond me), chipped glasses and chipped water bottle. They brought the appetizers but no oil or salt/paper, so we had to take them on our own from the table beside us. There were no paper towels or place mats, so when I was asked to remove my used cutlery from my plate and re-use them for my second meal, I was wondering if that was necessary and where the waiter thought was the right place to set them? On the dirty table I suppose, which would have gotten event dirtier and probably would have stained my sleeves as a result. So I had to keep them on my hands awaiting for the next meal to arrive. That was awkward… But that is only expected since all the waiters are almost teenagers with no apparent service experience. I had visited this place once more for drinks. We ordered wine, bread and some olives. That time we didn’t get any paper towels either, but surprisingly we didn’t even get cutlery this time. I suppose it is normal to eat oily olives with your hands and then then lick your fingers? I really don’t know… Tables were dirty that time too, so it seems to be a pattern.
The food: The appetizers were pleasant, however the fried shrimps (brought to us as a replacement for vitello tonato in a menu we had prepaid, which was not available, but let’s get past that) was not cleaned. Is that normal in the nordics? Also the fish carpaccio still had some bones… Not sure that is normal either.
Both our second courses (veal and pasta with salsiccia ragu) and sides (potatoes) were super salty (and that means a lot coming from me, since I usually prefer things on the salty side).
Overall
Overall, for the price (over 500kr a person for the menu) I wouldn’t visit this place again.
It is a pity because the location and setting is super nice and the menu has potential, but management needs to work harder on...
Read moreOur dining experience in BJØRN & DELFINO was disappointing, one of the worst we’ve had in Copenhagen.
We ordered the four-course meal with a side, and from start to finish, the food was far below expectations. The starter—a cauliflower with melted cheese—was completely bland and lacked any real flavor. The second course, a bean and crouton soup, was excessively salty, and the combination of ingredients just didn’t work.
The main course was the most shocking. We ordered the beef filet, and it was, without exaggeration, the chewiest filet I’ve ever had. It was like trying to eat rubber. When we mentioned this to the chef, she casually admitted that it was her first time preparing the dish, which was truly surprising given the poor result. I’ve had far better quality meat from a local supermarket for a fraction of the price.
To top it off, the dessert—something we hoped would redeem the meal—was an utter letdown. It was essentially cooked pasta, shaped into a mochi-like dish with some compote and cheap chocolate sauce. The flavors were bizarre and unappetizing.
While the service and ambiance were good, the food was an absolute disaster. For the price and reputation, this meal was extremely disappointing and not something I would...

Medium rare to rare, it tasted like nothing. Even after I dumped a bunch of salt and pepper on it, it was uninspiring. My better half picked the stuffed pasta. This was somewhat better but still merely average in taste.
As sides, Mac and cheese was pretty good. The basic salad was exactly that: basic. Could've used some kind of dressing at least.
Tatar as the starter was decent, and of course creme brulee is difficult to screw up.
The three different wines by glass available are all mediocre. Drinkable but that is all. The cocktail with liquorice is fantastic 😍
We paid around 1200 DKK, and for that price you can get much better food in Copenhagen. I hate to say it but Madklubben is the closest comparison here, and they are better and much cheaper. If the price was closer to 850, fair enough. But for this price? I doubt they will be here by year 2 unless they can significantly...
