Cykelslangen — Attraction in Copenhagen Municipality

Such a fantastic little shortcut across from vestebro to amager/Islands brygge. The bridge can get pretty busy especially with the absolutely terrible new road layout on the approach to fiskatorvet but it's a neat little spot to ride through if the weather is nice or you are looking to cross over to islands brygge/Amager. During the summer you'll find some more adventurous people jumping off the bridge into the water but I can't say I'd recommend it! Careful to avoid some lost pedestrians as the bridge is strictly for cycles only but people regularly walk along it...

I've seen this on blogs many times before and in theory it works great but it's not until you actually see it in person do you realize how great it actually works. The way it is contacted to the rest of Copenhagens extensive bike network is very impressive.
