Dear IKEA, I visited your shop today and wanted to buy few items. It occurred the items are not it stock, and as you don't have warehouse in your Kbh shop, it is not possible to buy them in this location. And yes, I was informed that I can order it by click and collect option, but it means that if order is lower than 500dkk, I need to pay additional 50 for the delivery. The situation is bizarre, and it occurs your shop is more a showroom than a shop if you want to buy particular items and you want to pay the price as you would in other shops.... I think that the fact that your offer is limited should be announced, as I was not aware of it when I decided to come to your shop. Additionally it is a huge inconvenience that customer comes to shop and is informed that you need to order online, pay for delivery and then - come again to collect the order.

Wouldn't it be better to at least inform your customers that not everything is available, and, change the way of how click and collect works for your location, so that customer can order items, that are not available in your shop, without paying for delivery? It would still not be the best solution, but in my opinion, much better than what you offer...

I always love ikea whether it’s in the United States or Europe. I haven’t been to ones in other continents yet. I would say the ikea I went to in Sweden (Jonkoping) was a gold standard. The food was so easy to find there and the choices and quality of food was amazing. But here in Copenhagen, there are so many levels for food and the choices are more typical to other ikeas like meatball platters. The main bistro restaurant is on level 1 but there is food on 2 other levels (-2 is the ground level where there’s an open early cafe with salads and juices and coffee and dessert) before ikea opens at 10am on a Sunday for those who are early but have to wait, and level -1 has a food market but it’s just for basic things like hotdogs and ice cream cones. So I got a lot of steps in today as is usual for going to ikea due to its vast size as well. You have to pay 5 DKK = $0.75 USD for ketchup bc the fries don’t come with it and there are no ketchup packets lying around gratis. So make sure you order it...

Its a huge place for everything of daily life of your home. From smallest things to biggest one. Here you can find every bit of them. Staff is very cooperative and friendly. Kids enjoy the place because in kid’s furniture areas they are allowed to move freely and they can even touch and play with the games there.they can sit and play puzzles and parents can do shopping. I don’t know about their sale but they must have some sale items always. The place is near to bus stop. Their elevator is very very big amazing for the transportation of huge furniture. The billing system is also feasible and easy with yourself service and also few staff there who can help you how to do billing. The salesman are very nice and they guide you properly. But there direction finding is very difficult you can easily get lost in the different areas so keep eyes open while doing shopping and mark the markings in your mind if you are separated from kids and they are...

Bought some plushies (found one we don’t have in Slovakia so had to buy it) 🤣 had a nice lunch (mestballs with mashed potatoes, rice and vegetables and meatballs, soup), some free refil drinks - I don’t like they put sucralose or other weird sugars in there), horrible coffee (the one free with the ikea family card was awfull). Nice my ikea family card from Slovakia worked! 😍😍😍 so I took tea free of charge. ❤️ Had good ice-cream and tried the other coffee as capucino which was ok - definitelly better than the first one. Extra charge 15dkk if I rememer correctly. Also cinamon buns were good. So we tried the restaurant upstairs first (-and they have nice seating atea that overlooks the entrance area with bikestands :) that was nice for a person from country where not even one third of the bikes go around the city) and then the snackbar downstairs for the ice-cream and capucino.

So, I loved the experience of buying stuff, but I hated how it felt like a prison once you want to leave. You have to go around the entire building! I had just gone inside and wanted to go back out—no, you can't. The restaurants on different floors all look the same but have different menus, which is a terrible idea. I needed items from different restaurants but I couldn't go to them without exiting, and coming back in. On top of that, you can’t take food from one restaurant to another. So, it's either my wife gets what she likes, or I get what I like, or I wait for her to finish eating before taking her to another floor so I can eat. Honestly, the planning feels very poorly thought out.
