Café Nöa'h — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We went there in the evening, the place was not even half-full. There were 4 waiters + kitchen stuff. Thats one thing that the place is overpriced compared to amounts and quality of the food, but the staff is completely incompetent, they acted like this was all of their's first day.

You need to order inside with your table number, but then the waiters have no idea about the tables at all so they are walking around with your food and if you recognize it in time you can catch them. Everything takes AGES. We were waiting for almost 30 minutes for a beer and tap water! The restaurant was half-full only, again. We spent around 2,5 hours in the place, eating 1-1 mains and 1 side and drinking 3 drinks. Waiters have no idea what do they put in the food. She recommended me a fruit smoothie, when I asked whats in it, she didnt mention that they put milk into it (that is not a smoothie btw) and I needed to send it back since I cant eat dairy. But of course I had to realize myself there is dairy in it first. They made a second one with plant milk and that was about another 20 minutes. I asked if they have a vegan cake, she asked back what is that. I told her and she recommended one cake and I paid for it. We were waiting for another good 35 minutes, it never came. I caught another waitress, who told me they have no vegan cakes and I asked to replace it with something else then. She said she will look into it and she disappeared for another 25 minutes when I went to the cashier and told them that we really would like to go and 3 waiters together finally were able to do a refund.

I found it very problematic, that the staff is unaware of allergens in their dishes and they didnt have a list of ingredients where they could check it. Overall the food was okay once its arrived, but very small portion and you cant get out below 200kr for a very average dish and a small alcohol free drink what is a very bad price-quality ratio. Very disappointing experience.. We were there for brunch, and luckily we had a gift card, otherwise paying 500dkk for what we got would have been insane.

First of all, the waiters(who are a couple of teenagers) are clearly not trained properly. They seemed overwhelmed, and kept walking around lost and confused.

By the time we got the food it was completely cold. The bacon was incredibly dry, the hummus had a bland taste, and the “nuggetS” is actually one single nugget. The pancakes were okay, the batter was really good, but the strawberry compote was just sweet and you couldn’t even taste the strawberries because it was made with frozen strawberries and it had a weird texture. We opted for the 5stk brunch plate, but we were still hungry after.

Additionally, I think it was the manager/owner(grown man, with no apron, helping out) who was serving some drinks to the table besides us, accidentally put his fingers in on of the glasses with water and just acted like nothing happened. It was gross.

They even charge 19dkk for the tiniest glass of “filtered tap water” which is mostly just ice anyhow.

The coffee however was good. But we will definitely not be back. It’s a shame that a place with a nice view like that has such...

In short: Horrible service and very rude staff! The quality of food was also lower than average. It took about an hour to get our drinks and food, and also they had messed up with our orders!

I joined a group of ex-pats to try their brunch menu today. It took about an hour for them to bring our drinks and about 10 more minutes to bring our food!

First, they forgot to bring some of our drinks, and then they brought a few extra ones! For me, they brought 2 extra drinks, and the waitress told me I have to accept them all and pay for them even though it was their mistake! I refused and did not accept the extra ones (We accepted what we had ordered and we paid what we had ordered, not all the extra drinks they had brought to our table by mistake), so she reacted in a very rude way! They forgot to bring some of our brunch items as well and the quality of food was lower than average.

Having had this horrible experience, when we left, one of the staff asked us to show our receipts to see if we have all paid! When we showed our proof of payments, one of us asked why are you asking this? Has anyone not paid? She said no, everyone had paid, but I just wanted to see your receipts!!
