Had an amazing experience here as a solo traveler. Was warmly welcomed in and my coat checked upon arrival by Ina. The place was quite busy but I was still able to get a beautiful table. My server Ina went above and beyond to make my experience perfect. She was very attentive and was constantly smiling and happy, this made me happy I had picked this restaurant. Ordered a cocktail and some samosas to start my dining experience. They were both amazing the cocktail came very quickly even though they were quite busy. It was perfectly made, beautiful and delicious. Then the samosas arrived and they were just fabulous. Flavors spot on! That’s when I know I was going to be in for a treat with my main course. Service was impeccable! Right after finishing off what may be the best samosas of my life my main course the “Butter Chicken” arrived. Hot and freshly made it came to my table in these copper pots. The aroma from all the spices was a thing dreams are made of. I also ordered a cheese naan (highly recommend) made fresh right there in theirs tandoori oven. Wow! The pictures can speak for themselves, but I can’t describe in words how happy I was. I absolutely love Indian cuisine and I love to travel and in the 34 countries I’ve traveled to I always seek out a good curry. Well this may just be the best I’ve ever had! No joke! I was blown away! I’m only here for a week but I may swing by one or two more times before I must return home, but I’ll always remember Dhaba! Ina my server was also equally amazing! She was so knowledge about the menu and with her charming attitude and welcoming presence I felt right at home. She clearly knows what she’s doing and was very attentive without being overbearing. Always on point and accommodating. All around my experience was above and beyond. Possibly the best Indian restaurant in the world. This place honestly should have a Michelin Star ⭐️ maybe two! A true hidden gem in this city that’s known for it’s food. Bravo to Dhaba! If I could rate you 10 stars I would. Do not miss this place and be sure to say hi to Ina from Greece when you do go. Her smile alone will make any grump like me happy! 😃 I...
Read moreI went to Dhaba kitchen tonight, I asked for a mango lassi, but they didn't have any, so asked for a salted lassi but the waitress could not be bothered to ask the kitchen to make that for me either. Imagine can't put yogurt and salt in a glass. I placed my scarf, coat and jacket on the back of the chair and ordered beef tartare starter (I wanted to see how something as a fusion would taste) and chicken dum birany (traditional). The beef tartare was ok, but it wasn't really a fusion of anything Indian. The birany started off tasting nice, but the more I ate the less tasty it was. I realised the rice was cooked using butter instead of oil. Ok interesting but there was not enough spice and no chili no masala. The raitha was nice, creamy. I would rate the birany 6/10. Its made for the Danish market and not real Indians. There were bits of chicken bone that I had to pick out of my mouth. I was most disappointed that my jacket fell on the floor twice and my scarf fell off the back if the chair & wiped the floor because there was nowhere else to...

We started in the lounge with their signature cocktails, crispy okra fries and the papadum selection as snacks.
Continuing with the modern tasting menu. One ordered the signature cocktail pairing which elevates the food is a remarkable way. The rest of us was choosing from the winecard. Really nice selection - good paring options with the food’s spice level - prices from kr 350 to 1.200 per bottle.
The modern tasting menu is amazing - it’s served as sharing plates - high end social dining. We added Chicken Tikka because it’s a favorite of ours. The food is amazing, Safi clearly has a very well balanced taste pallet and we love his modern take, never loosing the authentic Indian fragrance and taste. The homemade mango soft ice cream with cardamom and pistachios is genius.
We will be...
