Prior to our trip to Copenhagen, I literally spent hours researching hotels that would suit our needs. I chose the Nobis Hotel as it appeared to be well-located, upscale, and a decent value for the cost. I booked through AMEX Fine Hotels and Resorts. It is a lovely hotel, conveniently located (Copenhagen is a very walkable city), with a well-trained staff. It was very clean and the bedding and towels were of very high quality.||||I am only giving Nobis 4 stars are we were disappointed by the following:||||Lack of storage in our Deluxe Room - there is no closet or wardrobe; just two pegs holding 4 hangers each to hang our clothes and there are just two small drawers.||||Online picture of Deluxe Room didn't match the room completely - I pay attention to details in photos and descriptions and was surprised when there wasn't an easy chair in our room (though there was one in the online photo). I was told 3rd floor Deluxe rooms don't have one.||||Fitness Center - this is quite small with just one elliptical, treadmill and bike. There are weights and mats but very difficult for more than 4 people to use the room at one time.||||To be honest, I think I should have made a different hotel choice or paid more money for a larger room. Copenhagen hotels (and dining, etc.) are quite expensive and I probably should have recalibrated my expectations. I would recommend the hotel to others but would caution them to be careful about their...

Original: They lost our reservation, leaving us stranded on the vacation we planned months before. The front desk clerk couldn’t care less, didn’t bother with helping us find another hotel. Unprofessional, and hostile to customers. Don’t stay here, you’ll have an unfriendly experience in the friendliest city in the world. However, one of the bellmen (Vitus) helped us find another hotel and was the professional the manager should have been. Nobis needs to fire the manager and put Vitus in charge.
Update- I had asked the manager if I could contact the owner, he said I could not. He seems unaware of this development called “The Internet,” and they post emails for the owner’s personal Secretary and all the officers, so I emailed the group and shared the experience. I received a call 45 minutes later (!!) from the owner (!!) with a sincere apology and offer to put us up on the teaming suite that them manager refused earlier. I said that, although we were already in our alternate hotel, I very much appreciated him reaching out and offering. He continued to apologized and offered a free stay if we ever come to Stockholm. He was genuinely a nice fellow wanting to make it all right, so I hold no bad will against Nobis now. Hopefully, he is making a staff change (or doing some remedial...
Read moreI went to Copenhagen for an extended business trip and stayed at the Nobis Hotel. I am very glad I did. I have stayed at many hotels over the decades but the Nobis Copenhagen is the best! From the time I got there until I departed, every aspect of my stay was 5-Star. Hospitality is based on people and relationships and Nobis does not disappoint. Every member of their staff is friendly, kind and helpful. Whatever need or request you might have, they will try to accommodate. From the concierge staff to the front desk, to housekeeping — everyone was kind, friendly and sincerely helpful and attentive. I give the hotel special congratulations for its outstanding restaurant, NOI. The food and service at NOI is truly next level. The server and bar staff is very knowledgeable and focused on giving exceptional service. And the food is really next level from breakfast to late night room service. I didn’t want to leave this excellent establishment. I hope to be able to return and am happy to give the Nobis Hotel Copenhagen my highest recommendation. I didn’t mention before but a beautiful physical building — a beautiful historic place with very tasteful modern additions. And the location is a plus — next to Tivoli Gardens and close to many access points into the amazing old Copenhagen central city. Go there, go there,...
