Stay away! We took a fish filet and potatoes and a salmon toast with scrambled eggs. Potatoes weren't seasoned tasted like soil and eggs were not fresh - a health hazzard really. The waiter admitted they were done in the morning (it was 20.00). They seemed bothered we wanted to seat outside. Outside they didn't clean the table and gave us napkins and cutlery only when asked. They didn't give us condiments like salt or pepper to use even if we could see they had them. We eventually took them ourselves. Overall I don't absolutely recommend. Prolly our mistake - it was one of the only places free on a Saturday night with...

My family's first meal in Denmark was here! We wanted to make sure that we tried the famed danish smørrebrød, and Tivoli Hallen made sure the impression was good! My order of the Danish chicken salad with bacon and toast sandwich was full of flavour and made fresh.

You need to go down a set of stairs to go down into the main dining room, but the windows at street level mean a lot of natural light comes through. I think during the warmer seasons, outside tables are set up. The place has a really nice comfortable atmosphere to me, and the food is served on decorated...

We were a bit confused on how to get in as there were 2 different doors. We sat in the courtyard. Once we got in, the younger waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food arrived very quickly and we enjoyed it very much. Picture below is of the roast-beef option which was perfectly combined. Took off a star because one of the owners was a bit abrupt, we probably would gave had a coffee or dessert but were offered the bill straight away. Apart from that a nice experience, price was alright too, around £50 for both of us.

Superb lunch venue. Booked a table for 8 people for a late lunch. Had a variety of open sandwiches which were all really good. Best to pick 2 (maybe 3 if hungry) and be adventurous! I had smoked eel with scrambled egg then salt beef with liver pate. All washed down with a few local beers and couple of glasses of schnapps. The staff were great and really friendly and the decor is best described as eclectic. Lots of odd pieces of china and pictures. Highly recommend.

Cosy place with the best Danish food and great staff, honestly the food was amazing, the pork belly was my fave (not so Danish tho), I had to go back and try the fish which it was mouth watering. I totally loved it, it is quite inexpensive compared to the city rates, the staff was warm people, simply the best. You cannot miss this place, it is a hidden gem. Full withlocals so you'll get the whole Danish experience :)
