Friday night under the lights at the Riverside. Rob Edwards men top of the league and looking to return to winning ways after a frustrating draw away at Preston last time out.

As is the way of the modern world, Boro's friday night game against West Brom is being shown around the world - including at the Dubliner in Copenhagen.

My brother and I stick out like a sore thumb in our Boro shirts. Red and white might be in vogue here but they don't seem used to seeing those wearing it drinking 7-8 pints of guinness, repeatedly checking sky bet's in play markets, or shouting and gesticulating at the tiny screen this game is being shown on.

We won 2-1 (Strelec, Sene first goals for boro). Who cares who scored for them. We're going up.

The Dubliner may not have provided the ideal viewing lcostion for this game, but it duly provided in terms of the after party. Several post game Guinness were enjoyed, as was a few hours of trashy europop interspersed with some classic danish hits I had no idea about.

Great vibes but funnily enough the most central Irish bar im Copenhagen isn't the ideal spot if you actually want to concentrate on the football (and catch the cycling highlights on your phone...

Good atmosphere cannot diminish poor service and behaviour of staff, and possibly mostly a manager. People, music and the feeling that you can sit down sip a drink and then go dancing again makes it awesome. Unfortunately, three incidents made it sour experience. First, when I was enjoying my drink I saw a guy dancing by the stage, sometimes alone, sometimes with partner. All of the sudden he got escorted for whatever reason. Me and my friend were flabbergasted. Some point at night my friend was also escorted out by a security. This happened last weekend. And this Friday I still wanted to give it a go, because I just had fun with people. I went there, waiting for a friend. 5 minutes passes passes and a guy hands over my jacket and got escorted by a security because I hadn't ordered anything yet. It was nothing like 'hey, order or leave', no, just pure spite decision.

People should expect from this bar to be randomly...

We would like to watch the Danmark football team play world cup on a wider bigger screen. We Try our vision and sound access not acceptable. The waitress are kind of hostile 🤫 We look at the toilets and cleanliness Not that perfected.

But it has been a space and a place we share moment and history of sportmanship in the field and world of football.

Let's hope the management are better to keep it up on next level. For the vision and broadcasting corporation team. We come when you least expect us and you send us away and we watch from far 🌎🌐🌍.
