What I Got: "Custom" Large Strawberry/Mango milk tea with Boba (Brown Sugar Variety)
It was very easy to order, there's a clear list of flavors, it's all in English so there's no difficulty to understand (for English only speakers. Thanks DK for your eternal patience). The "how to" is on the far left with steps for size, flavors, types of tea, toppings, etc. The staff was very helpful and the flavors were very good. They do have jelly, popping boba, and regular classic boba/tapioca/bubbles. You can mix and match flavors, it does cost extra but can be done.
If you do not like sweetened or brown sugar boba, then you may not like the ones from this shop, I personally enjoy the sweetness, and they do give a generous amount of boba. The flavors were leaning more towards natural flavors instead of the artificial flavors.
Note: Someone mentioned that they used bubbles terminology and how the staffed looked confused. I'd like to point out that region to region and even store to store the classic "boba pearls" are given different terminology. So don't be afraid to look at the menu to see what terminology a store uses, or give the staff help in what you want. Especially if you're a tourist in a different country, you can assist them by describing it. We're in a different country and we should do our best to help them understand us because even if most Danes speak English better than Americans, it doesn't mean the definition is the same. Even in the states (especially East vs West coast) boba vs tapioca vs bubbles vs pearls is a Thing. Thanks for coming to...
Read moreIt’s a cute location, really sweet and friendly staff and the bubble tea tasted very nice. I also liked that they offer eco-friendly straws, (even though the general cup and packaging is of course still a lot of plastic), but it’s a small step. I just have one thing to criticize, but that one was kind of a big deal for me: when I went there the first time, I asked if they had soy milk or some other kind of plant based milk alternative. I was told by the employee that everything on the menu was vegan, except for two or three flavors that are made with honey. I was super excited about that and ordered a classic “milk” tea. I came to the store again a few weeks later and ordered a different flavor, again with “soy milk or whichever vegan milk it is you use”. The employee told me that they use lactosefree milk. As in, lactosefree cow’s milk. Thankfully I am not allergic to milk, because if I was, the false information of the first employee could have been dangerous. I think the employees should be better educated about the differences between those things, or ask if they’re not sure, instead of using terms as “vegan” so confidently when they actually don’t really know what it means. Just a head’s up for the people who don’t want to consume cow’s milk for whichever reason - they don’t seem to have any other option than the lactosefree milk, so be sure to ask more specifically when they tell you...
Read moreThe tea is really good if you have the right person making it. The service is really useless most off the time. Last week we stood in line for 30 minutes to get some tea, once we get to the counter the dude who works there yells out that there is no more tapioca and that those who want tapioca will have to wait yet another 35 minutes!!! He could CLEARLY see that the tapioca was running low and instead of actually telling people that he will run out soon he chose to wait until he actually ran out to say something. It's really bad service. If they are running low on tapioca and you pay for tapioca and extra boba, they will give you less tapioca which is cheating you out of something you paid extra for. If you ask for extra tapioca, they might say no because "they have to save it for other customers". Maybe you should invest in making extra tapioca or actually having more than one person working to provide the most basic of service and have the ingredients you need to make the products you are supposed...
