Where to place Pincho Nation is hard, but lets try.
Atmosphere is a circus, its designed that way. It blowns you away, it draws you in. Even down to the toilets that starts talking to you. Everything is a vibe, and to be honest at some point you reach a point of I don't care for this its to loud visually. But it looks pretty. the music they where play where just fine, and the volume levels where good.
The service it not really there, everything is in an App. Don't want to install an App and have them track you? Well either don't go there or bring someone who does not mind. Honestly just put QR codes on the tables and use a website like all most restaurants in places like London do, installing an App is a no go for me. But I did bring someone who would. One member of our party was having issues with the App and the personal honestly just dident care, they have zero knowlage about who to help.
The menu is huge, there are alot of items and they sure front load the drinks and cocktails. There is a good veriaty at a fair enough price. Well that is until you get an SMS that tells you to go and get your drinks yourself. The whole no service and keeping the prices up is just dumb. The food, there are quiet a good selection from pita, koran bbq, tenderlions, vegan, fish. So you order all that you would like, and you do need to order 5-8 items if you want to be full because this is tapas style and the portions are just a tiny are the cutlery they give you. Even a doll would ask for a bigger tools. Again it is just dumb.
So who does it taste, well it tastes good. I only had one item that was bland and that we the chicken scewers. The rest was good, good flaour and well seasoned.
Oh I forgot to mention the food is servered on boards that gets stacked in the middle of the table untill you can't see the person infront of you. So don't come if you want a date where you can see the other person.
All in all we paided around 800kr for two adults, and for that price I can eat at other restaurants with great service that brings the drinks to the tabel and where the cutlery is human size.
One final thing, this is a franchise, if you go to their website it is easier to find the section about buying a franchise then it is to find the menu.
I tried it, and I will only ever be back if someone invites me else I...
Read moreThe restaurant has a fun circus theme, and you're served popcorn when you first arrive for free, which is great for kids. The decoration and cleanliness is excellent and the tables aren't close, so you aren't rubbing shoulders with patrons at other tables.
The staff are very friendly, but there isn't really any service to speak of. You order via an app, and the food is brought to your table. Drinks are also ordered from the app, but you need to collect these yourself from the bar. Not a fan of this concept.
The food was OK. But only OK. The choice isn't hugely varied and the food quality is average. Their concept is to order many small "tapas" portions of food, and mix and match. Of course the portions are cheaper than a whole meal, but they are very small portions. For example, a steak that cost 59kr, but was literally bite-sized for an adult. It seems a bit pricey for the size, and this could be excluded if the steak was nice, but it was cooked gray all the way through and had little flavour. They rely heavily on mayonnaise sauces for that.
Mini burger was a decent size for the price, but again the burger was cooked gray to the center and tasted very processed and lacked any inspiration. The vegan burger option was, on the other hand,...
Read moreWe had booked a table for five persons on a Tuesday night. As we arrived, we we shown to our table immediately and introduced på the concept and the menu. We had free popcorn as a welcome.
You have to pick up your drinks at the bar, and the food is delivered to your table. We ordered via the app. Convenient and easy.
The drinks were ready quite fast, but we waited 40 minutes for the first round of food. Other guests said it was the same for them. If you decide to visit Pincho nation, it is recommendable to book round two app. 15-30 minutes, after you have booked round one and so on.
We tried a wide variety from the menu, and every little dish was tasty and well prepared.
The drinks was incredible ;-)
I have given the restaurant a total of 4 stars because of the long wait for the food.
The restaurant concept is inviting and kids friendly and the cool circus theme that is carried out though the entire restaurant. Even in the toilets.
We were five people including two teenagers. A boy and a girl. We paid 1300 DKK, which corresponds to 175 €
I highly recommend this, but make sure that you order...
