I had the easter menu (salmon, lamb and creme brulee). The old gentleman waiter (likely the owner?) was full of knowledge and stories about the dishes and wines. I learned so much and very much enjoyed my starter and dessert. What unfortunately makes this place a 4 star is the main course lamb. I love lamb but undercooked lamb that I couldn't cut through and had to use a steak knife to even try....it truly was a shame. The waiter was very apologetic and made up for it with a bottle of wine on the house which I really did appreciate but alas I'm sad not to give this place a 5/5. Read moreAbsolutely stellar ambiance, with a decor that takes you right back to your grandma's sitting room, fits perfectly in this old townhouse. The food matched the presentation, with a small but incredibly tasty menu of dishes both classic and modern, all with their feet solidly planted in danish tradition.
And the service. Wow the service. We were lucky enough to be waited on by the proprietor himself, who on top of expertly presenting the dishes and offering wine pairings was also quick to regale us with stories of both the food, drinks, decor and just lofe in general.

Read moreThis restaurant seemed ideal, we had wine in the afternoon and discussed booking a table, we booked for 7.30 and the owner suggest maybe a glass of white or Rose as an aperitif when we arrived. Seems like he forgot that and brought us the bottle of red we ordered, he then eventually brought us our main course and forgot the starter, desert eventually came and the food was excellent. We were in there from 7.30 to 10pm and left disappointed. Think he was understaffed...
