Another evening and we found ourselves in the same plaza which we had been visiting for the last 4 nights, so where to go tonight?

We decided to try this joint…. Good place for authentic pizza in Bávaro. You can also order pasta If you want. Nice place

We ordered –

Pollo Pedazo (Pizza)- medium Pizza, 8 pieces, enough for two… fresh pizza baked in front of you. And yes it tastes like an authentic one [I've been to Florence so I know before you judge me : )]

Pop-poll- it was chicken nuggets types but fresh chicken (not frozen) with 3 different sauces

Tax: they have 18% ITBIS tax which is value-added tax (VAT/sale), on top of that, they charge 10% tax, they call it Ley tax. Dominican law requires hotels and restaurants to add a 10% service tax to their bill (in addition to the 18% sales tax). Sometimes bills will show this 10% under a label that reads "Ley" (law). Pizza is pretty good considering it’s the Caribbean , they lose one star because I ordered two of the same salads and I ended up receiving one salad with romaine and fresh arugula and the other was wilted iceberg.. not cool.. the service was ok, interactions were appropriate but the employees looked hot and bothered so they didn’t too much smiling or hosting, to their partial defense the brick oven is outside and it’s 95 and humid all.the.time. Enjoyed several breakfast dishes during our two visits to Bella Napoli. We started off with very tasty thick foam cappuccinos (80 RD each). For our main meals we tried the International breakfast which was prepared to order (395 RD). The meal tasted great and reminded me of being back home. The Dominican breakfast (250 RD) was also very good with sides of blended plantain and yummy fried cheese. On the light side try the pancakes (150 RD) with syrup. At a little extra charge I added sliced bananas and crispy bacon to the pancakes.. All the food arrived hot and tasted great.
