Although this place looks pretty on the outside and inside, the experience is trash. We went to eat dinner here and it was horrible. The food itself is yummy, but the service and atmosphere is not worth the visit. We asked for water 3 times, and we received our water after our food. One of us asked for lemonade and the lemonade sat on top of the bar counter for almost 15 minutes before it got to our table. The appetizer took almost 1 hour to come to our table, and the food almost 2 and a half hours. Most things came out wrong. One of us ordered a medium rare steak and another a well done steak, they were placed on different plates and our waiter told us to switch our meats. A little unprofessional, but okay. It got worse when one of us ordered lobster with mashed potatoes, and after the lobster was at the table for 15 minutes, the waiter came to the table to tell us that there was no more mashed potatoes and told us to share our French fries amongst each other. After, they brought bruschetta and one of the pieces of bread came with a hair in it. Unacceptable. When we received the bill, we checked it to make sure since the experience was already bad, and they charged us 3 extra sodas that never came to our table. The food itself was super expensive as well. Such a shame that food that tastes good is surrounded by such horrible service. We wasted almost 3 hours of our night on a restaurant who’s employees, and owner, clearly don’t care about their patrons. They were laughing the whole time as we were waiting and having issues with our food. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone,...

WRITE DOWN YOUR BILL YOURSELF.

FOOD EXCELLENT. SERVICE GOOD.

THEY TRIED TO CHARGE US $150 MORE ON A $200 BILL AND TOOK AN HOUR TO NOT EVEN GIVE US A BROKEN DOWN BILL.

LONG STORY: food was very good, place was nice, we than asked for the bill after a great lunch... 20 minutes later, we are trying to fix to computer to write the bill, 20 more minutes later, they say it's its not working and show us on a calculator $385.00 lunch bill for 5 people (5 entress, 2 salads, 2 appetizers) we didn't drink alcohol or order desert. I then told them to give me the menu, a pen and paper and I would write the bill for them. I did the math, added the taxes, and even gave them their requested USD to RD conversion. Bill came to $230. The waiter reviewed and agreed. The owner walked away at this point. I still left the waiter a nice tip...

I would eat here again, the food was really good, but I would write the bill down as we ordered and leave the money on the table after I finished eating, wouldn't even waste time explaining.. I think this place preys on tourists that don't understand mathematics. They didn't do it angrily or aggressively, but I don't think you could mistakenly add $150 to a $230 bill by accident. Not when a...

DO NOT GO HERE if you are a tourist and don't want to be ripped off. We ate here April 4th 2022, at the suggestion of the concierge at our hotel. Restaurant is very pretty, location on town square is cool, food is good. HOWEVER..... they claimed not to have a wine list and just showed us the bottles available - no prices. Nearly everything we wanted on the menu was not available - but substitutes were available (again no prices communicated and we didn't think to ask). When the bill came it was equivalent to over $300 for 2 people - wine was at least double what we would have paid in a 5 star hotel, the replacement ceviche was 3000 pesos - 3 times the price of the ceviche that was "unavailable", and the fish I ordered was quoted at 1090 pesos but charged 1900. I'd say we were ripped off to the tune of $150. Reading the other reviews this sharp practice looks like standard for this place for tourists - most of the good reviews of this place are by locals - who apparently have a separate menu with local prices and presumably are not ripped off. I do not recommend this place - unless you want to ask and write down every item's price and confirm it as...

It's a tourist trap, so better not to go there. We were group of 9 ppl and none of us speaking Spanish so they gave us English menu. By accident one of us got Spanish menu with different prices (in usd prices were higher from 10% to 25%). We informed them that we are going to order food from the menu in Spanish and we want to pay in DOP. After our lunch they gave us a bill but in USD using the prices from the English menu. We asked them to change the currency as we wanted to pay in dominican peso. So they used prices from English menu (just to remind you, that were higher!) and they cheated us on the exchange rate so some of dishes were even 40% more expensive comparing to spanish menu! They claimed that prices in USD are higher because for tourist they have special quality of food. I forgot to mention that during our lunch they served us vegetables, salads, etc. We ate them as we thought that those side dishes were included in dishes price. When they gave us a bill it occured that not... Better avoid this place, horrible experience.
