Casa Museo General Gregorio Luperón — Attraction in Puerto Plata

This museum is both the birthplace and deathplace of General Gregorio Luperón. The exterior of the house is a beautiful seagreen, and the interior of the house is renovated to display exhibits and artifacts. This fun tour was made even better with the skill of the guide. Was going to go today however....very disappointed. Showed up mid morning and was staffed by young folks who didn't seem to interested in working. Wanted to charge 5 USD a person regardless if we had a child with us. Considering it cost 4 USD total for 2 Adults and 1 Kid at the Amber Museum. It cost 2 USD a person a San Feilpe Fort. Not sure if they were trying to gouge us as a cruise ship was in port and we weren't part of it or guided tour. Us tourists are not your ATM's and some of us educated ourselves...
